Arizona opens trade office in Japan

The Grand Canyon State opened a trade and investment office some 5,700 miles away in Tokyo, the Arizona Commerce Authority announced on Wednesday.

The commerce authority announced the office hopes to “increase economic collaboration and foreign direct investment opportunities” between the two locations, according to the announcement.

Arizona officials have been out in front when it comes to going after foreign investment.
