[Music] Are you a take your passport, let’s go type of traveler? Well, guess what? We took our passport and went off to Batam, Indonesia for a short but sweet getaway. [Music] We collected our tickets from Baton Fast, which we conveniently pre-booked online. Travel tip. Arrive at the terminal at least 1 hour early for smooth check-in at the immigration. [Applause] We hopped on the ferry for our trip from Singapore to Nongapura ferry terminal in Batang. Once you’re settled in, head up to the fairy deck and soak in the fresh seab breeze. Wow. Watch the waves sparkle in the sunshine. See other fairies glide past and enjoy that calm feeling as you leave the city behind. Oh yeah. Or if you prefer, just sit back, relax, and let the gentle ride set the tone for your tropical getaway. Amazing. We’re almost there. Let’s get ready to head down from the ferry. Touchdown Nong Sapora. From here, our pre-arranged van was ready to take us straight to our accommodation. [Applause] We were all set to head to the resort, but hunger struck. Thankfully, our driver was flexible and agreed to make a quick detour. So, off we went to Nagoya Hill Mall for some local dishes. Oh, yeah. [Music] There seemed to be so many options to choose from. Oh, no. If you’re from around here, what would you recommend? Got to eat like the locals do, right? So, we tried some penet. Our driver said this place is really good. [Music] After that delicious local meal, it was time to head to the resort. So, come along. Let’s enjoy a little road trip. Here we are. Then it was time to check in. Welcome to Tou Beach Resort. [Music] Yay! Check-in complete. Now we’re heading to our villa from the reception. Can’t wait to show you what it looks like inside. We got two villas, two person in each. And just look at this. It’s spacious, cozy, and the perfect place to kick back and relax. Wow. A few moments later, later that afternoon, we explored the resort. From the pool to the jetty, all glowing with those tropical island night vibes. Amazing. After that, we headed back to our villa to rest and recharge. The next day, good morning. We were surprisingly greeted by this cute monkey and this breathtaking view to start the day. Comment down below if you agree. This is the best way to wake up with such perfect scenery. Oh yeah, we kicked off the day with a big breakfast buffet. Yes, there were so many delicious choices to enjoy. Wow. From local to western, they have it all. M yummy. Here’s my plate, fully loaded and ready. Time to dig in and enjoy this feast with an amazing view. Few inches later. After breakfast, we took our time to wander around the resort one last time. [Music] Down by the beach, we spotted this super cute swim. And of course, we just had to try it out with the sea breeze and the sound of waves making the moment even more special. Sauna all. Then we strolled along the boardwalk and wow, the view looked so different in the daytime. Nice. The sunlight reflected on the water, the sky was so clear and it felt like a scene straight out of a postcard. And even the walk back to our villa was magical. Surrounded by lush greenery, calm ocean views, and that peaceful island vibe that makes you wish you could stay here forever. Meanwhile, before ending the trip, we made time for something essential in Batam. What? A relaxing massage we simply couldn’t miss. Off we went to Indotai Massage, one of the most recommended spas and honestly the best I’ve had so far. The atmosphere was so relaxing and perfectly in harmony, calm, soothing, and with just the right vibe to make you feel at peace. Amazing. I went for a full body massage and the techniques were truly professional. You could feel the skill in every movement. Nice. The staff were also incredibly friendly. And the best part, all of this came at a very reasonable price. Two hours later, after that amazing massage, it was time to head back to the hotel, pack up, and check out. Oh no. A few moments later. With a heavy heart, we made our way back to Mount Sakura Fairy Terminal to catch the ride home. And that’s it. A short but super fun escape at Tulle Beach Resort. If you’re looking for a quick tropical getaway, this might just be your next weekend trip. And just like that, our BAM adventure came to an end as we made our way back to Singapore.
