Food trucks in Tokyo are π₯
Where else can you eat Omiseu? Right in the middle of Tokyo’s business district. In Marunochi, the main street actually closest to traffic on weekdays at lunchtime, and food trucks line up with tables and chairs set out for everyone. The most popular one has to be Omra, serving Omuisu with different sauces. The egg is fluffy, the sauces are delicious, and their rich demiglass sauce was definitely our favorite. We also tried chicken over rice from Mr. Hal and a hearty skirt steak sandwich from Naoki, which was simple but satisfying. Everything was good, but honestly, the omura was the winner. Would you grab lunch from a food truck here in Tokyo?
During lunchtime in Marunouchi, one of Tokyoβs busiest business districts, the main street is closed to traffic and filled with food trucks. Tables and chairs are set out on the street, making it a lively and unique place to grab lunch right in the heart of the city.
Among the many options, Omtrak is one of the most popular trucks β known for their fluffy omurice topped with sauces like ketchup, white sauce, and a rich, meaty demiglace thatβs full of flavor.
Other highlights include Mr Halal, serving chicken over rice, and Naokiβs, where you can grab a hearty skirt steak sandwich. All of them are great choices, but Omtrakβs omurice was our favorite of the day.
