SueshiTravels: Osaka, Japan (Kuromon Market, Umeda, Dotonbori)

Good morning everyone. Today is the fourth full day here in Japan. We are in Osaka. We woke up not too late, like 8:00 a.m., but it took a while just trying to get up. We took a slow morning because we realized that we’re able to like have more time to spread everything out and not needing to rush. So, we got ready slowly and now it’s about 10:50 and we’re about to head out. So, yeah, let’s show you what we’re doing here in Osaka today. Let’s go. [Music] All right, we are here at Coron Ichipa Market. As you can see, there’s a bunch of food. We’re trying to find something to eat. There’s like skincare necessities, like your Walgreens type of style, but just everything’s out and about. So, we’re going to enjoy walking around. [Music] Yeah. [Music] [Music] [Music] sound. Listen to the crunch. Good. I think the crab is my favorite though. The scallop, it’s not worth it in my opinion. [Music] Okay, we are [Music] done there. Oh, the big one is truly better. The small one, I feel like it’s good, but not like amazing. [Applause] at this. Okay. [Applause] [Music] Stop. [Music] [Music] Perfect. [Music] Keep [Music] [Music] Go shopping. [Music] [Music] S Okay. [Music] All right, y’all. Takoyaki, the squid is actually really good. Pretty decent. The flower and everything else though is just me. It just sucks because there’s only a tiny squid. This entire big thing bar [Music] hotel that way. [Music] Hi. Hi. [Music] Hey. [Music] [Music] [Laughter] And all right, that is the fourth full day here Japan. First full day in Osaka. We were able to go to Corono Market and eat a bunch of stuff and then go to Umemeda. We didn’t go to the sky building because we didn’t think it was worth the entrance fee since we did Tokyo Tower yesterday. So, we skipped on that and then headed over to the building and did a lot of shopping before we came back to our Airbnb to drop off our stuff and then go to Dumbbury after, which I do not recommend. Like, there’s just too many tourists there that have no manners. They see an attraction, they are all about go that they forget that other people are doing the same thing, so might as well just be patient. But I guess some cultures don’t teach them matters. I don’t know. It’s just not it. So I wanted to get out of there fast. And so we spent the rest of the time grabbing some food and looking at the different like nooni hotels. But they’re expensive. Way more expensive than the ones that we’ve been to. So I think it’s just cuz it’s high congestion. It’s not that reasonly priced. Still more than back in the States, don’t get me wrong. But yeah, we are going to call it a night. I packed because we’re probably going to use the Yawato luggage service so that we don’t need to be carrying around the big bag cuz the day after we are actually going to Kyoto. So yeah, I’m going to go to sleep. Tomorrow is our last full day in Osaka. I think 2 days is plenty here, but I’ll keep you guys updated cuz you never know. And yeah, that’s it. Good night. [Music]

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back to all those who are returning and welcome to all those who are new~

On September 14, 2024, my mom & I basically ate & shopped around Osaka, Japan. We started off the day at our own pace, really figuring out what to do in Osaka the next two days we’re here. We were able to wake up and not rush out like the days before. First we visited Kuromon Market to grab some food to fuel the day. We had tempura, ramen, oyster and sushi before heading over to Umeda and shopping our hearts out. We even got to visit Umeda Sky before heading back to our Airbnb to rest before going out to Dotonbori for the evening. We grabbed some Takoyaki & Melon Bread for dinner before walking around the different stores & Don Quixotes.

Overall, fun day exploring Osaka with my mom~! Can’t wait to explore Osaka again tomorrow!

If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to let me know!~
