Peach Aviation will expand its Osaka (Kansai) – Seoul (Gimpo) service to meet growing demand for travel between Japan and South Korea.
The airline plans to increase operations to three daily round trips beginning December 4, 2025, and further to four round trips from February 1, 2026, making it the carrier with the highest number of flights on the route.
When combined with Peach’s Osaka (Kansai) – Seoul (Incheon) service, the airline will operate up to eight daily round trips between Kansai and the two Seoul airports. The expansion highlights the carrier’s strategy to strengthen its network in South Korea, a market that has seen rising popularity among travelers for short leisure trips.
Increased Frequency and Accessibility
The Osaka–Seoul Gimpo route, launched in April 2025, has quickly attracted strong demand due to Gimpo International Airport’s proximity to central Seoul. With a train connection of around 25 minutes, passengers have easy access to the city’s commercial and cultural districts. The additional flights will allow customers greater flexibility in planning itineraries, including the growing trend of single-day international trips.
“Since the start of service on the Seoul (Gimpo) route in April, it has been widely used by many customers,” said Kazunari Ohashi, Representative Director and CEO of Peach Aviation. “Peach’s routes to South Korea have been well received by customers of all ages, giving rise to new travel styles such as single-day ‘day trips abroad’ that had not existed before.”
Promotional Fares to Mark Expansion
To celebrate the increased capacity, Peach will launch an International Flight Sale beginning September 11, 2025. Promotional one-way fares on 15 international routes, including Osaka–Seoul (Gimpo), will start at 3,000 yen. The sale runs through September 15, covering travel from September 29, 2025, to March 28, 2026. Taxes, fees, and optional charges such as checked baggage and seat selection are not included in the promotional fare.
The airline is promoting the new schedule as an opportunity to explore seasonal highlights in Seoul, from autumn shopping and Korean cuisine to winter dining experiences such as Ganjang-Gejang and traditional Jjigae.
Flight Schedule
Peach will initially operate three daily round trips between Kansai and Gimpo, with a fourth frequency beginning February 2026. The schedule includes morning, midday, and evening departures to maximize convenience for both leisure and business travelers. When combined with Incheon flights, the total of eight daily round trips will make Peach the leading airline by frequency between Osaka and Seoul.
