A paraglider carrying two people crashed offshore in Okinawa on September 3.
According to the Japan Coast Guard, they received a report around 1:30PM saying that a paraglider had crashed offshore and the people who fell were floating.
Firefighters recovered a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s, who were both in cardiac arrest, and transported them to the hospital.
The man was confirmed dead.

The man was a paragliding operator, and the woman was a tourist.
The Japan Coast Guard is investigating the cause of the accident.
