Microsoft has officially announced the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 showcase, which will be broadcast around the globe later this month. The event “will feature titles from our creative teams, alongside exciting updates from our partners in Japan, across Asia and around the world”.
Here’s the exact date and broadcast times for Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show 2025 event:
Thursday, September 25 at 3am PT / 6am ET / 11am BST / 7pm JST
Microsoft’s announcement post, which comes via Xbox Wire, also includes some interesting hints at what else we could see during the show. The team mentions “Japan-inspired content and games developed in Asia” – and that first bit immediately has us thinking about those recent Forza Horizon 6 reports. Could Xbox’s next FH title be set in Japan and announced at the show? It’s not been confirmed, but this has us hoping for an appearance:
“We know players around the world delight in Japan-inspired content and games developed in Asia, and we can’t wait to connect with players across the globe to show off the incredible talent and creativity behind upcoming games coming to Xbox.”
While FH6 hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet, what has been confirmed are a couple of Xbox products that will be available for folks who attend the event in-person. Hands-on sessions for Ninja Gaiden 4 and the ROG Xbox Ally will be present, much like they were at Gamescom 2025 last month.
Of course, you’ll be able to watch the show live right here at Pure Xbox, alongside the usual Xbox Twitch and YouTube channels. We’ll also be covering all of the big news as it happens – so be sure to check the site afterwards to see what announcements were made by Xbox!
