【ホテルエミオン京都】豪華な鰻重も食べれちゃう京都でオススメのホテルを徹底紹介【京都/ホテル紹介/ホテル宿泊記】

Thank you for watching. This is Yusuke’s Travel! We’re starting from the Shinkansen platform at Odawara Station in Kanagawa. This channel introduces hotels that offer great value for money and a little luxury. If you enjoy domestic travel and hotel stays, please subscribe to our channel! Since an empty stomach can’t do much, I’ll start with a chicken-filled ekiben (station bento box)! And so, we arrived at Kyoto Station, our destination for this trip! First, I had some time after arriving, so I paid a visit to a shrine, but I’ll show you the sightseeing at the end of the video. This time, we’re visiting Hotel Emion Kyoto, which is part of the same hotel group as Hotel Emion Yokohama Kannai, which I reviewed earlier! Here’s how to get to the hotel. It’s just one stop away from Kyoto Station, so it’s very convenient. In addition to trains, there are also buses, making it easy to access even after sightseeing. The main entrance is located on the first floor of the hotel, in front of the car drop-off area. Let’s head inside the building from the entrance! It looks like the hotel starts on the third floor. Let’s head toward the hotel! You can take the stairs, but there’s also an elevator, so it’s safe for wheelchairs. The reception desk seems to be on the 3rd floor.Let’s take the elevator to the 3rd floor. When you get out of the elevator, you’ll see a hallway with tall windows. I’m getting excited…! It was the lobby. It’s very bright with windows on all sides. I checked in right away. They gave me a tour of the facility. I received various amenities. I’ll take a look at them later. On the way from the reception to the guest floor, there was a security door. The elevator hall on the lobby floor. This time, I stayed on the 5th floor. This is the elevator hall on the guest floor. It has a uniform design. The hallway on the guest floor has a calm atmosphere. This is room 539, which I was assigned. It is an economy twin room. It seems to be a simple room. Let’s go inside and start the room tour! We’ve entered the room. The space is neatly organized and compact. Here is the location of this room and the evacuation route. DD card under the door peephole. Proceed inside… Economy Twin Room, 21 m². The room is simply furnished and feels spacious. The view is… The view from the north side of the hotel is expansive. Right in front of you is Kyoto Central Market. Next to the hotel is a seafood building, which seems to have a viewing area. This is what the room looks like from the window. Curtains wide open! I personally like how high the windows are. Let’s take a look around the bed. With a twin bed, it’s hard to decide which side to sleep on when you’re alone, isn’t it? The bed is 110 cm wide. There’s something on top of the liner. A handbag with a logo. It looks like it could be used when going to the large public bath! The indoor wear is separate, with the top being a workwear-style garment. There are two types of pillows.I always wonder which one I prefer. The usual bed check. Sheets, bed pads, and so on… The mattress was made by Japan Bed. Let’s take a look between the beds. The night lamp is built into the headboard. Lighting control panel. Includes power outlets and USB charging ports. In-room telephone. Alarm clock. There was also a night light inside the nightstand. Let’s take a look at the wall opposite the bed. A Sharp humidifier and air purifier is also provided. There are two round tables and chairs that look easy to use. I wondered what this was, so I opened the cover and found a power outlet and LAN port. Toshiba TV. Wi-Fi connection information is also available here. I forgot to measure it this time. It is compatible with smart TVs, so you can watch YouTube and other content. You can also check the crowd and usage status of the large bath, breakfast venue, and coin laundry. Now let’s take a look at this side. This is the TV remote control. The remote control with a QWERTY keyboard on the back, which was also available at The Basics Fukuoka! This was also a power outlet. Information about the in-room spa. It’s open pretty late. Tissue box and free mineral water. Hotel logo-printed notepaper and writing utensils. This leaflet says “Delicious and Cute Walk.” It was a guide to the hotel’s surroundings. This file contained information about the tea room ”Sasarakuan” located inside the commercial facility. This file contained information about rental items and a letter set. The rental equipment lineup is as follows. It seems they also offer laundry service. Letter sets with the hotel logo. Inside this door, there is a refrigerator and a safety deposit box. Glasses and mugs. I’m glad there’s a tea bag tray. Coffee, green tea. I like jet brew. Ice bucket. Tiger electric kettle. Let’s take a look at the items we received at check-in. This is the card key holder. Late-night snack menu. I wanted to try it, but it was sold out.Sad… Here is the card key. It has a simple design. And here’s the dinner voucher. I’m so excited! It looks like we can get a welcome drink at Le HUBLOT on the first floor of the commercial facility. And discount coupons too. We got a lot of them. I thought it was just a flyer, but there are discount coupons here too. Information about the facilities inside the building. We’ll introduce them in detail after the room tour! On the back, there were precautions for using the large bath. At the end of the room tour, let’s start with this open closet. There are two coat hooks. There is a luggage rack at the foot of the closet. There are slippers that can be taken to the large public bath, a shoe horn, brush, and disinfectant deodorizing spray. Hotel comment: Twinbird shoe dryer, also available at Yokohama Kannai. The bathroom is located directly in front of the open closet. There is also a full-length mirror next to the entrance to the bathroom. The bathroom is on the left side of the entrance. The washlet is made by TOTO. This is a washlet remote control commonly found in commercial facilities. The toilet paper holder holds two rolls. In the bathroom, there is a compact sink on the right. Light switch and outlet. Two cups. Face and hand soap are KOSE’s N&CO. Amenities and hand towels are neatly organized. Amenities are well-stocked here. The skincare set was from POLA’s KALAHARI series. Under the sink are towels, a hair dryer, and a laundry bag. The hair dryer is a Panasonic Ionity. And now to the bathroom. The economy twin room only has a shower booth. There is a large public bath, so this is enough for me personally. The bath amenities are made by POLA. The shower head has adjustable water flow. It is lever-operated, so be careful not to accidentally turn on the rain shower. Here are some other rooms. There are standard rooms and rooms for up to four people. For those who want to relax, we also have deluxe twin rooms. Japanese-Western style rooms and junior suites are also available. Barrier-free facilities. Universal rooms are also available upon request by phone. That concludes the room tour. Now we will introduce the hotel facilities. First, let’s start with the lobby on the 3rd floor. The reception desk can be seen in the back. It didn’t seem particularly crowded. There are various items lined up in the lobby area. They were selling sweets and other items that would make good souvenirs. There were alsoHeian Gyokuhou Touen, as well as information on hands-on experiences. There is also a garden-like space by the window. There are also sofas where you can relax. Next to the reception desk is the area reserved for guests. The guest area also has various convenient facilities. It looks like there is also a large public bath. Let’s take a look. This appears to be the vending machine corner. There are also vending machines for snacks and cup noodles. Seventeen Ice is delicious! There are two vending machines for soft drinks and tea. There is also a vending machine for alcoholic beverages. This may come in handy since there is no convenience store in the hotel. This is the smoking area. There was also a meeting room. It seems to be available for use from one hour. There were also restrooms. This is a coin laundry. There were four machines. Washing and drying cost 900 yen for 120 minutes. And this is the large public bath, “Hohoemi no Yu.” In front of the separate entrances for men and women, there is a place to relax after bathing.p> I’m so happy that towels are provided! There are also signs at the entrance, so be sure to check them carefully. Now, let’s take a look inside with photos from the official website. The large bath is an indoor bath only. It’s not a hot spring, but it’s spacious enough to relax in. Overall view of the indoor bath. There were also plenty of washing areas. There is also a dry sauna. There is also a cold water bath, so you can cool off. Powder room in the changing room. The women’s large bath requires a dedicated card key, ensuring security. Now, let’s check out the shared facilities on the guest room floor. There seems to be something near the elevator. It looks like there is an ice machine and a microwave. The ice maker and microwave are free to use. There don’t seem to be any cutlery. The microwave is900W capacity, which is a nice touch. Now, let’s head to the rooftop. Follow the instructions and take the elevator. We have arrived at the rooftop floor. There are umbrellas available, so you can go out onto the terrace even on rainy days. Now, let’s head to the terrace! This is the rooftop terrace, “Sky Terrace.” It’s nighttime, so it’s hard to see how far the view extends, but the panorama is expansive! Let’s move a little… This is the view from the south side of the hotel. I could also see the five-storied pagoda of Toji Temple. There are sofas on the terrace, so you can relax there when the weather is nice. There are also tables and chairs. View from the south side to the east side. The night view is more beautiful than I expected. Now, let’s get back to the facility introduction. Let’s take the escalator down to the second floor, which is the commercial facility floor, from the third floor. The 2nd floor is mainly a restaurant floor. Right downstairs is Honke Yamahisa, a restaurant specializing in duck ramen.. It seems that you can enjoy udon noodles with duck, duck seiro, and other dishes. This is Honke Sankyu, where you can enjoy sushi. It seems that you can enjoy authentic sushi at a relatively reasonable price. This is Senri Unagi, a restaurant specializing in eel. They serve live eel delivered directly from Senri Unagi, which is based in Kagoshima. This is Issunboshi, where you can enjoy yakiniku and shabu-shabu. There are various affordable lunch menus, courses, and à la carte items. In the back, you will find Kyoshunsa Yushou, where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine. They serve dishes made with carefully selected rice and vegetables. There is also Café du Monde, which serves European cuisine. Now, let’s take the escalator down to the first floor. An ikebana arrangement by the Sogetsu School was displayed in the center. This is Sasaya Iori Bettei, where you can enjoy Japanese sweets and meals. The reasonably priced Japanese afternoon tea is also appealing. The Sogetsu style is often seen in hotel flower arrangements, and it seems that you can even take a trial lesson. The tea room “Sasarakuan” run by Sasaya Iori, mentioned earlier. You can experience tea ceremonies and tea preparation. This would be especially enjoyable for visitors from overseas. Le HUBLOT is a Japanese-French restaurant and bar. The hotel’s welcome drink is also served here. It seems that there are other food items on the menu.Let’s come back later. Shimizu-yaki pottery studio “Heian Gyokou Tōen.” You can actually try pottery wheel spinning and painting, so it seems like a great experience. It’s time for dinner, so we came to Senri Unagi on the second floor. It looks like you can eat some really luxurious unagi dishes. You make a reservation for the restaurant when you check in. After checking in, we entered the restaurant. Since it was a set meal for guests, we ordered other items from a tablet. We were given wet towels and tea. And then the food arrived! Isn’t it incredibly luxurious?p> Not only eel, but also sashimi! There is also rolled eel, grilled liver, and bone crackers. There is also liver soup. Pickles and soy sauce. And here is the unagi donburi! The overflowing style is not just luxurious but also delicious! It was a satisfying dinner. Thank you for the meal! After the eel, we went to Le HUBLOT for a welcome drink. Since we were there, we also ordered from the food menu. This is the chocolate cake, 600 yen. It was delicious! For drinks, I had peach squash. It was a pop-up, so it seems like it’s not available in the facility anymore. Tears. Good morning! Morning has arrived! Breakfast is at the restaurant “Sai” on the 3rd floor. Check in at the counter in front of the restaurant. The staff will guide you to the restaurant. We were seated in a quiet spot right next to a pillar. Let’s take a look at the buffet! Let’s start here. There’s a case in front of us. Hot spring eggs. Boiled eggs. Natto. Chirimen sansho ten and kujo negi teppai, chestnuts and herring, thick fried tofu, and lotus root cabbage with Shogoin daikon sauce. Dashi-flavored omelet. Topped with okra. I brought a variety of dishes! Salad is a must! Of course, there are also warm side dishes. Rice, natto, and miso soup are a classic combination. I love meat and potatoes! Juice too! By the way, this is the view from the restaurant. Fruit compote mixed with yogurt. Let’s put this back when we’re done. Coffee to go. Thank you for the meal! It’s time to check out, but we’re reluctant to leave. How was your stay at Hotel Emion Kyoto? It is only one station away from Kyoto Station and easily accessible by bus, making it an ideal base for sightseeing in Kyoto. I highly recommend this hotel! The dinner set plan is especially great, with a variety of options besides eel, and it’s reasonably priced, so I highly recommend staying for one night with two meals! Now, let’s talk about the price…! Reservations made through the official website for Thursday accommodation, one night with two meals for one person, were 19,400 yen. You can use 6,488 yen worth of points to get an even better deal. Usually, this is where I end, but I visited a few shrines before and after check-in, so I’ll also share some of my Kyoto sightseeing! First, here’s what happened on the first day. I took a bus from Kyoto Station to my destination. The first place we visited was Kamigamo Shrine. The deity enshrined here is Kamigamo Okami. The weather was bad, but there were many people visiting the shrine. After visiting the shrine, I received a handwritten shuin stamp. Next is here.Kenjun Shrine, where my favorite historical figure, Oda Nobunaga, is enshrined. This is a handwritten goshuin. There is no video because it was snowing heavily, but I also visited Genbu Shrine. I bought some bread that looked delicious. It was really good! Day 2.After checking out, I headed to Nishi Honganji Temple. The Karamon Gate is a national treasure. It is truly magnificent. We arrived at Horikawa-dori. This is the Gokoku-mon Gate, designated as an Important Cultural Property. While waiting for the bus, let’s explore a bit more of Nishi Hongan-ji. In front of the Mikage-do Gate stands the Mikage-do, a national treasure. In front of it is a large ginkgo tree. This is the Amida Hall Gate, designated as an Important Cultural Property. We arrived here by bus at Seimei Shrine. This shrine is dedicated to Abe no Seimei, a famous onmyoji (diviner). When it comes to Abe no Seimei, the pentagram is famous, isn’t it? This is a reproduction of the old Ichijo-modori Bridge. Next to it stands a stone statue of a shikigami, a spirit summoned by onmyōji. The combination of autumn leaves and the bridge is also very picturesque. There is also a souvenir shop called Kikyo-an on the grounds. There are sun and moon pillars on the side of the approach to the second torii gate. There are also cute komainu (guardian dogs) sitting there. The second torii gate is not a pentagram, but a Seimei-sha. There was also a gate with a pentagram drawn on it at the second torii gate. The main hall can be seen in front. The characteristics of Seimei, which are said to be found here and there, can be seen. Between the main hall and the subsidiary shrines, there is a peach tree for warding off evil spirits. Peaches are said to be fruits that ward off evil spirits and misfortune. There is also a statue of Abe no Seimei. He is said to be looking up at the sky and observing the stars. This camphor tree is estimated to be 300 years old. It is the sacred tree of the shrine. There is even a contactless fortune-telling service. I also received a shrine stamp. After walking a short distance from Seimei Shrine, we arrived at Shirayama Shrine. The deities enshrined here are Emperor Sutoku, the 75th emperor of Japan, and Emperor Junin, the 47th emperor of Japan. Let’s go inside right away. As soon as you enter, you will see the sacred trees, “Sakono no Sakura” and “Ukon no Tachibana.” Next to the landowner’s shrine is a stone monument dedicated to kemari. Near the landowner’s shrine stands a magnificent pine tree said to have been planted by Emperor Showa. There is also a uniquely designed statue of a cow. A stone monument engraved with a poem by Emperor Sutoku. There was also an explanation of the poem. If you’re interested, check it out. There was also a shrine dedicated to the dragon god, Senryū-sha. The laughing dragon is cute. It’s fun to visit the shrine while sightseeing like this! Thank you for watching until the end! I hope this helps you choose a hotel.Subscribing to the channel, giving it a thumbs up, turning on notifications, and sharing it with friends and family would be a huge encouragement!
