Edo Nakasendo Walk in the Rain #japan #4kuhd #animals #travel #edoperiod #samurai #asmr #asmrwalk
I managed to walk the entire Ochiai Cobblestone Path, enjoying every moment. When I came out, the rain grew stronger, and luckily I found a small roof to take shelter and adjust myself before continuing this beautiful adventure. That little roof was right in front of the Shin Chaya Ryokan — an Edo-period inn where travelers on the Nakasendo once stayed, ate, and rested on their long journey between Edo (Tokyo) and Kyoto.
The Shin Chaya Ryokan still stands as a reminder of the past, keeping alive the spirit of the old highway. Experiencing rain, cobblestones, and Edo history all together made this walk truly unforgettable.
