To celebrate the World Athletics Championships returning to Tokyo, the renowned Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s fighter jet team, Blue Impulse, will perform a breathtaking air show above the Japan National Stadium.
Dynamic and graceful trails will be painted across Tokyo’s skies, creating a spectacular and unforgettable moment to mark this historic occasion.

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s aerobatic team, Blue Impulse, will perform an aerial display over the National Stadium and across Tokyo following the conclusion of the DAY 1 (Saturday, 13 September) Morning Session.

Please note that the timing may change depending on the competition schedule and weather conditions.
Blue Impulse will perform an aerial display over the National Stadium for approximately 10 minutes starting around 12:25, before continuing their flight across various locations in Tokyo.
Spectators holding tickets for the DAY 1 (Saturday, 13 September) Morning Session will be able to watch the display from inside the Japan National Stadium immediately following the session.
Flight Route
Japan National Stadium → Tokyo Skytree → Tokyo Station → Tokyo Tower → Shibuya Station Area → Yoyogi Park Area → Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
Spectators will be able to enjoy the air show from multiple locations across Tokyo.
