Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan Walking Tour | 4K

During my road trip from Sapporo to Lake Akan, I made a few stops along the way to split up the long stretches of rural roads. Although beautiful and lush, the drive was a bit tiring. One of the stops I made along the way was Asahikawa, Hokkaido’s second largest city. I took an early morning stroll in the downtown area of Asahikawa and peeked through some of the windows of the restaurants and businesses in the area before heading on the road again. Most of the shops had not opened yet. The night before, I ate at a delicious izakaya near the rail station.
