I went on the Most Beautiful Road Trip around Mt. Fuji !
[Music] There’s a place in everyone’s life that leaves an unforgettable mark. A memory that stays with us forever. For me, that place is Mount Fuji. Welcome to a two-part series of my road trip around Mount Fuji. [Music] Wow, so nice. The road trip started in Fuji City, Shizoka Prefecture. [Music] The city is famous for its views of Mount Fuji, but luck wasn’t really on our side. Most of the time, the sky was cloudy and the mountains stayed hidden behind the thick mist. In Japan, they said the chances of seeing Mounti clearly are only about 20 to 30%. Yep, we are part of that statistic. [Music] After a quick lunch, we decided to move on earlier than planned and hopped onto a bus to Lake Yamanaka. [Music] Even though the view back in Fuji City hadn’t been clear, I actually enjoyed the mystery of the mountain. We reached Lake Yamanaka around 5:00 p.m. The sun was setting early and the blue hour caused a beautiful glow over everything. The fog had cleared a bit and most of the mountain came into the view just not the peak. But our luck finally turned and next morning the weather was clear. I could not wait to see the view outside and it didn’t disappoint. [Music] The clear view of the snow cap peak of Mount Fuji. the birds chirping in the background and the clear blue sky. It was simply perfect. [Music] If I ever had plenty of money and the freedom to work from anywhere, I would love to live here for a while. [Music] Some of these photos are taken on Korak Gold while others are shot with a digital camera or smartphone. Three cameras might sound like a lot, but it was totally worth it. [Music] After that, we took a bus to cover city. Unsurprisingly, a huge crowd has gathered outside the famous Lawson. The local government was planning to put a black car behind the store to block the view. So, everyone was rushing to snap a photo before it disappeared. We grabbed a quick lunch and then headed straight to Kawaguchiko station to catch our ride to the next destination. [Music] So far, the journey had been incredible, full of stunning views and little adventures, but the best was yet to come. In the next part, we will wander around the lake Kawaguchi and step into an ancient healing village in Japan. So, make sure you don’t miss it.
