Escape from Tokyo | Summer Day Trip to Moriya Beach in Chiba (1.5 hrs away)
Hi guys, welcome back to the channel. Today we’re escaping the busy streets of Tokyo and heading out to Maria Beach in Chiba about 100 km away from central Tokyo. The trip takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes. And if you’re in Tokyo looking for a summer escape, this is the perfect spot. [Music] On the way, we passed through a 10 km long undersea tunnel, which was such a cool experience. [Music] Just outside the city, the views completely change. Full of greenery and amazing landscapes. Such a breathtaking views. Honestly, it feels like stepping into a different world. [Music] We were traveling with a couple of our friends today. We finally made it to Moria Beach. There’s a parking area really close to the beach and it only costs 1,000 JPY. The beach itself is absolutely stunning. Clear views, calm vibes, and not crowded at all. [Music] We noticed there was just one food truck around, so don’t expect too many snack options. [Music] We brought some air tubes with us, and luckily there was a place right by the beach to fill them up. Super convenient. They do have washroom facilities, but it costs 300 JP Y per person to use them. We’re in a hurry to dipping into the sea. Of course, we jumped into the sea right away, and it was so refreshing. [Music] We had such a great time swimming and relaxing. [Music] And even you can checking out some speedboat rides. Here’s a quick tip. The beach services close at 5:00 p.m. So, plan your visit accordingly. The whole atmosphere was calm and peaceful. Exactly what you’d want for a quick getaway from Tokyo. Overall, it was a fantastic day trip and such a great experience. If you’re in Tokyo and need a little break, Maria Beach is definitely worth the drive. [Music] Thanks so much for watching.
