Japanese semiconductor companies to hold joint technical seminar on September 1st 2025 ahead of SEMICON India 2025

TOWA Corporation and Samco Inc., both headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, will co-host Kyoto Day, a joint technical seminar, on September 1, 2025, in New Delhi, India.

The event, scheduled the day before SEMICON India 2025, will run from 7pm to 9pm at the New Delhi ibis Aerocity Hotel. It will bring together 100 or so engineers, researchers, and executives from semiconductor-related companies to explore the latest advancements from TOWA and Samco.

Following opening remarks by Hirokazu Okada (pictured right) TOWA’s chairman & CEO, and Osamu Tsuji (pictured left) Samco’s chairman & CEO, the program will include presentations from both companies on innovative manufacturing solutions, emerging industry trends, and strategies to address key challenges in India’s rapidly developing semiconductor sector. Vamsi Krishna Komarala, professor at the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Delhi will give a guest presentation. The event will be followed by a networking dinner.

By combining the strengths and expertise of two Kyoto-based technology leaders, Kyoto Day aims to promote collaboration, share advanced manufacturing solutions, and support the long-term growth of India’s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.
