Wakayama Castle.#和歌山城 #japantravel #shorts
Wakayama Castle was originally built in 1585 by Toyotomi Hidenaga, the younger brother of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Later, it became the residence of the Kishu Tokugawa clan, one of the three prominent branches of the Tokugawa family. Although the original keep was destroyed during World War II, it was reconstructed in 1958. Today, the castle stands as a cultural symbol of Wakayama, offering panoramic views of the city from its tower.
