Look at the left side please This is the Jewel At the end of the tour We will stop at Terminal 1 The first stop You can you get a chance to see the Jewel To see the “Rain Vortex” fountain It will shut off at 10 o’clock So you got about half an hour to see it Which is I think is good Especially if you have a lot of time This is the “East Coast Parkway” which is a direct expressway to the city There you can see the two domes Can you see the very nice domes This is “Gardens by the Bay” These are the paid entry That means you have to pay to go into these domes But later we’ll be going to the outside areas of the domes Which are free for you to roam around And there’s a little surprise for those who don’t know Now you look at there’s a bridge blocking out the seawater over there That’s called the “Marina Barrage” That means everything here is fresh water It goes to our water treatment plant for fresh drinking water There you look down below here This is the Formula 1 pit stop That means we have our Formula 1 race here Formula 1 race is here every September And then you see our observation wheel This is the Singapore Flyer The second highest in the world observation wheel, second highest The first being Las Vegas called the High Roller This is called the Singapore Flyer The government has incentivized buildings and developers To include greenery onto the building So the plot of land that you’re gonna build a new building You have to replace the same size of greenery onto the building Whether it’s rooftop gardens There is this whole street here “Mookata” Oh I have some Thai friends right? Do I have some Thai friends? sorry I forgot “Sawadikap” “Mookata”, there is the Korean barbecue There’s the “Ma La Xiang Guo” also So many different types and a lot of desserts Just coming up on this side On the left side you’re gonna see the Raffles Hotel The Grand Raffles Hotel almost 150 years old already This is only the back area But it’s already looking so grand But can you believe it? Such a big plot of land only 113 suites Very very exclusive, probably over $1,000 a night But this Raffles Hotel was established in 1887 And there’s this famous bar called The Long Bar The Long Bar is at the corner here Can you all look to the left side second floor Right at the corner, right at the corner here The Long Bar is famous for its Singapore Sling This is Raffles City It’s a shopping mall So Singapore is full of contrast Old and new, side by side And the next building that you gonna see On the left side would be the Saint Andrew’s Cathedral Saint Andrew’s Cathedral has been around since the 1850s Get off at the “Civic District” and follow the tour guide for a walking tour Look like durian or not? look like durian So we call it the durians But durians is a fruit So this is the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay Walking toward “Merlion Park” Passing under the Esplanade Bridge Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall Back on the tour bus, heading to the next attraction This side for those of you can look up can you see How tall the building is this is about 57 stories high This is the hotel side So they’re connected underground So this is the hotel side This is the casino side, the casino entrance is here And their theatres also they’re showing musicals So the next musical that’s coming is probably “Wicked” in March You want to see the light show or not?
