G-MODE has confirmed that two Atlus-developed RPGs will join its G-MODE Archives+ lineup, reviving titles once exclusive to Japanese mobile phones.
Shin Megami Tensei: Tokyo Requiem is now available for Nintendo Switch via the eShop and PC via Steam in Japan for 1,800 yen / $15.99. The Steam release is accessible worldwide but currently only supports Japanese.
Next up is Stella Deus: The Spirit of Darkness, which is set to arrive on Switch in Japan on September 4 and on PC via Steam on September 18, with a worldwide release, although it will be Japanese-only.
Tokyo Requiem first launched on Japanese flip phones in the early 2000s as an original entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series. Set during a Christmas Eve apocalypse, the game retains signature SMT features like demon negotiation, fusion, and alignment-based endings. It also introduces mechanics such as demon leveling and a Sword Combination system, where weapons can be enhanced by fusing them with demons.
Meanwhile, Stella Deus: The Spirit of Darkness is a mobile spinoff of the 2004 PlayStation 2 tactical RPG. Focused heavily on the Cave of Trials, it features 50 stages and an all-new scenario. Players make use of its Action Point system, Effective Zone combo mechanics, and class changes to customize party growth while navigating a world threatened by Miasma.
