The Little Tokyo Farmers’ Market will open on Saturday, Aug. 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Isamu Noguchi Plaza, 244 S. San Pedro St. in Little Tokyo.
The market will be open every Saturday for the rest of the year: Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27; Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25; Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; Dec. 6, 13, 20, 27.
Presented in partnership by the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center and Food Access L.A., this weekly market brings together fresh, affordable produce, rich cultural experiences, and meaningful community connection.
Designed to support low-income residents, Japanese American farmers, and the broader Little Tokyo community, the market will feature:
• Culturally relevant, locally grown fruits and vegetables
• SNAP/EBT Accepted
• Wellness resources, including nutrition education, composting tips and healthy recipes
The market is more than just a place to shop; it’s a gathering space to nourish body, mind, and spirit through food, culture, and community.
