inside osaka expo 2025: future tech, culture & sustainability 🌏🚀♻️

[Music] We are now in front of Expo 2025. Okay, I think I should preface this video by telling you why this is so interesting. For those of you who don’t yet know, this is a world expo. It’s a massive international event that occurs every 5 years where countries from all over the globe come together to showcase their culture, their food, their innovations, and their vision for the future. So essentially, you get to visit all these different countries and what they have to share with the world. It’s always held in a different country each time. And this time it’s held in Osaka, Japan. And another cool thing, they didn’t just pick a random spot in the city for this. They built an entire man-made island just for this event, which is wild. There are so many countries here that honestly, one day isn’t nearly enough to see it all. I didn’t get to see everything, but here’s what I did get to experience. Look at this structure. Oh my god. So cool. This is like a big circle throughout the man-made island. Okay, now we’re in front of Belgium. We collect your data to keep you healthy. [Music] So, Belgium was more on like advancing technology for healthcare in the future. So, like prosthetics, regeneration, all that stuff. Pretty cool. So, we’re right beside Thailand. So big and so many people. Look at that line, guys. Okay, next to Thailand, we have Spain. [Music] Their exhibition is probably like under those stairs. Whoa. Wow. Next to Spain is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Covered by the trees, but it’s there, guys. It’s there. What’s that one? [Music] [Music] All the ancestral weapons. Wow. Okay. [Music] Very cool. [Music] Okay, now we’re at the Korea Pavilion. [Music] Thank you. Awesome. [Music] Oh, how could you? [Music] [Music] Okay, here we have Malaysia. That’s Ireland, but I think it’s Pol. Each hand is your arm ready to grow 3 hours before. [Music] [Music] Oh my goodness. [Music] This is the coolest room yet. [Music] Greetings to everyone in the US Pavilion of Osaka. And hello, Spark. It’s good to see you. [Music] This is the future of life pavilion. Okay. So, next is China’s and then there’s UAE after this bamboo building. That’s China beside it. UAE. [Music] [Music] Okay. So, I think China was more on re-imagining future cities. So this year’s ecstasy theme is future cities. Like what the future might look like in other countries and from what we saw in China, there’s going to be floating cars and buses. Look at this big ball. I think it’s supposed to represent the Great Wall of China cuz you know it’s like great space. Now we’re going um to go to Italy to get some dessert cuz it’s pretty hot and I could really use some refreshments. Okay, so this area is for if you want to cool yourself down, you go into the mist, but um you’re going to be blinded cuz you can’t see anything once you’re in there. This is supposed to be misty. [Laughter] And so many little kids are playing. This could be a safety hazard, but at least it’s cool. Like cool as in cold. Singapore. A bit crazy. Look at that. Look at that line. Wow. [Music] [Music] We got the mango and peach granita. Granita granita. Okay, guys, if you go get the pistachio and strawberry, that one was the one that was recommended and it’s good. Hello. [Music] Okay, now we’re exiting through the east gate cuz we enter through the west gate was so far we walked like 30 minutes and here it’s like the instant we walk out is going to be the station. okay, this took way longer than expected to edit and upload (but hey, quality over quantity, right?) i’m not going to make any more promises about upload times, but i’m aiming for the bi-weekly timeframe (no specific days, but just whenever i finish editing a vid) hopefully i can keep this up. i think i still have 2 more vids on japan, so you can definitely expect that.

moving on → this video is interesting for those of you who are about to go to the expo, want to go to the expo, or just curious. not a lot of people know about the world expo and i feel like this is a really interesting and exciting event that’s worth sharing. it’s only running from april to october of this year, so it’s definitely something i’m really grateful i got to visit. hope you guys enjoy this one as well!
