The chosen site at the foot of the mountains is defined by dense trees and a wide depression at its center. Vegetation grows thickly, reaching upward in unison toward the open sky above. Within this hollow, Japanese architect Hajime Yoshida introduces a structure that mirrors the forces of the landscape, earth rising and swirling, converging to support itself while carving out a void of light above.
