Coco Gauff SURVIVES a three-set thriller, outlasting Ajla Tomljanović in almost three hours. It was a contest that had twists and turns, big hitting and long rallies from both players.
In the end, it was Gauff, who was broken serving for the match up 5-4, that responded to break at 5-5. She then held serve up 6-5 to close out the match, as the Arthur Ashe Stadium crowd gave her thunderous cheers in support. What a gutsy win for the American.
