Arashiyama Bamboo Grove Kyoto | Stunning Natural Bamboo Forest & Photo Tour 🇯🇵
Our visit to the Arashyama bamboo grew was a highlight of our trip. Movies and uh this is the best part in Kyoto. This dense bamboo grow took decades to grow. It is a testament to nature’s power and long-term care reaching its towering height, thick beauty over many years. In rain, we still managed to have a great photo shoot capturing the magic of the place. Arashama bamboo grew is not something that was built in the traditional sense like a building. Instead, it’s a natural forest of bamboo stocks that has existed for centuries. Nice curve. Fantastic. Beautiful. It is incredibly popular among tourists for many reasons. Firstly, it is unique and ethereal beauty is captivating. Around 20 million tourists visit Arashyama annually with the bamboo being one of its star attractions making it one of Kyoto’s most visited areas.
Welcome to Latha and Prem Around The World
Join Latha and Prem as they explore the legendary Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto, one of Japan’s most famous and spiritual Shinto sites. ⛩️
Dating back to 711 AD and rebuilt in 1499, this shrine sits on Mount Inari (233 meters high) and attracts millions of visitors annually — especially during New Year celebrations. People come here to pray for good harvests, successful businesses, and good fortune.
Fushimi Inari is world-renowned for its thousands of bright orange torii gates — estimates range between 10,000 to 32,000 gates — donated by individuals and businesses as thanks to the god Inari. Each gate bears the donor’s name and date, forming winding trails that climb the mountain with about 12,000 steps to the summit and back.
The shrine honors Inari Okami, the Shinto god of rice, agriculture, and business. You’ll also spot numerous fox statues, regarded as Inari’s messengers, throughout the grounds.
Experience this breathtaking journey through vibrant torii tunnels, ancient spiritual history, and stunning mountain views with us!
