兼六園。
石川県金沢市内。
水戸偕楽園、岡山後楽園と並ぶ日本三大庭園。 始まりは、
1676年 加賀藩の5代藩主 前田綱紀の
別荘近くの蓮池庭園。 雁行橋。
亀形の11枚の石が並ぶ姿が、
並んで飛ぶ雁の姿に似ていることで命名。 曲水。
園内を流れる曲がりくねった小さな川。 雪吊り。
豪雪から松を養生する
美しい円錐型の雪吊りは冬の風物詩。 唐崎松。
13代藩主 前田斉泰が
近江・琵琶湖畔 唐崎の黒松の種子から育てた。 霞ヶ池。
園内中央にある一番大きな約5,800㎡の池。
亀形の蓬莱島がある。 噴水。
日本最古の噴水。
霞ヶ池を水源として約3.5ｍにも吹き上がる。 瓢池（ひさごいけ）
園内最古の瓢池。
兼六園造園はこの辺りから始まった。
We visited Kenrokuen Garden in early autumn, located in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
Kenrokuen is one of Japan’s Three Great Gardens, along with Kairakuen in Mito and Korakuen in Okayama. It is designated as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty and is a popular spot well worth visiting.
Since it was a free exploration rather than a guided tour, I missed some of the highlights. Because of that, We’d like to visit again someday.
