Naomi Osaka is one of the best tennis players out there. She’s won both the US and Australian Open and was ranked number one in women’s singles in 2019. Naomi is also known for her amazing fashion, both on and off the court. While on a trip to New York City, she wore a white dress with a black bow, black tights, black shoes, and silver hoop earrings. Naomi’s amazing legs were on display. She captioned an Instagram post of the outfit, “City girl.” How did Naomi Osaka get those amazing legs? Here are 5 of her wellness secrets.

Naomi makes sure to be consistent with her training. She broke down her routine in an interview with The Cut. “I then train from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. six days a week. I typically start my day with a warm-up before hitting for about two to three hours. After I hit, I do my off-court training, which consists of strength and conditioning, cardio, and then treatment.”

Since Naomi works out so much, she has to make time for her body to recover. She shared her favorite ways of doing so in her interview with The Cut. “It’s really important that I take care of myself post-training, so stretching, working with a massage therapist, and just making sure I do whatever I can for post-care.”

Naomi has been open about her struggles with mental health. One thing she likes to do is practice meditation. “As someone who suffers from anxiety, I do my best to find time for my meditation practice,” Naomi tells The Cut. “Even if it’s just for five minutes at the beginning or end of a day. It’s really calming. I never used to be into meditation, but when I started working with Modern Health, I found the value it has on my life, and I even created a few meditations on the app.”

Naomi loves making smoothies. She makes one before and after training. Before she goes to train, she makes a fruit smoothie. “My favorite fruits to add in are strawberries, blueberries, and a frozen banana – sometimes I add mangoes,” Naomi tells Us Weekly. “My go-to trick is, if fruits are starting to go bad, rather than waste them I cut them up and place them in portion-sized baggies and freeze them so they are ready to go for my shakes. In addition to some ice, I add in BODYARMOR LYTE Coconut for some extra vitamins and antioxidants.”

After working out, Naomi makes a smoothie with more vegetables in it. She shared her favorite recipe with Us Weekly. “After my workouts, I’ll make a recovery smoothie that has more vegetables instead of fruits,” she explained. “I’ll use spinach as my base, and then add in cucumbers, lemon, protein powder and BODYARMOR LYTE Coconut, plus apples and pineapples sometimes for some extra sweetness. I’ll add in a flavor spice like ginger sometimes too.”
