This season’s afternoon tea is served in a three-tiered wooden handheld box that is exciting to open one by one. The top tier features five types of strawberry sweets that take full advantage of the characteristics of strawberries, including premium shortcake using “Onomine” from Shizukunosato Farm in Kameoka and agar yose with white bean paste and “Amaou strawberries” from Shioboken, a Japanese confectionary store in Kyoto. The middle tier, titled “Spring Blossoming,” features an array of lovely petite sweets that have been enchanted by the patissier’s magic, such as a honey-flavored lemon tart and pistachio pudding tiramisu! The lower tier will also feature a selection of hotel-quality savories that make the most of spring ingredients. The set also includes a finishing parfait with yogurt ice cream and raspberry gelato, a lineup that is sure to satisfy.
