After an Instagram post teased the next installation of the series (and was promptly deleted), Windows Central reports that Forza Horizon 6 will be announced at Tokyo Game Show 2025. At least, that’s currently the plan. The real question is whether it’s actually venturing to Japan this time around.
The Instagram post focused on the scanning of Kei, a brand of Japanese-manufactured vehicles. While it’s not concrete evidence that Japan is the setting for the sequel, the timing of the alleged announcement certainly lends more credence. Officially, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has only confirmed that the next Forza will launch next year.
Following significant layoffs, Turn 10 Studios is reportedly set to support Playground Games on the next Forza Horizon. Stay tuned for more details when Tokyo Game Show returns on September 25th to 28th.
As for Forza Horizon 5, check out our review for the PS5 version. It’s been a strong success in the United States, reportedly selling two million units on the console in its first month.
