Conbini food is really good in Japan. My 2 favorite ones are the curry pan from 7/11 and the kaarage from Family Mart.
From your video, I really like the look of the watermelon chuhai. It sounds so refreshing and I like the idea of using watermelon that would not be used normally.
She strikes again! The egg sandwich lol😅… We still want her on the show. Adorable Canadian Japanese 🎉
Lawson has its regular store but also has Natural Passion and Lawson 100 which is like a dollar store konbini.
Lawson all the way!
Great video, Shizuka!
Dear JapanbyFood, can you please share us your camera gear? Thanks!
Another great video! 🇯🇵 ❤
Shizuka's day out. 😅
The reason you never see videos of US visitors eating exclusively from convenience stores for 24 hours is that none who have attempted that have survived.
The Cream always been special and delicious and that’s the best part ✌🏻
I really miss Japanese conbini—especially FamilyMart! Wish we had one here in Canada 😂
I like kombinis , the food is alright for a picnic or a snack but they will never replace the good cheap restaurant chains okkkkaaaaaayyyyy
My breakfast when I'm in Japan is almost exactly the same as Shizukas except I get orange or apple juice instead of a smoothie.
Shizuka! Your colleb with Sunny was 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The Lawson teriyaki pork rice box looks really yummy plus your reaction after taking the first bite sold me on it. Need to find a flight to go and try it myself.
Hope you guys do a follow up video featuring the lesser known combini like Daily Yamazaki and Seicomart. Feel these stores don't get enough love and they have their own unique features to set themselves apart from the big 3.
Fami-Chiki. So many times getting blitzed in Kabuki-Cho and grabbing a Fami-Chiki while heading for the train station. lol
I always thought 7-11 had the best conbini bentos and microwave frozen meals.
Hi crush!
My wife and I loved the conbini foods when we were in Japan, and had it for dinner 2x just to cut costs a bit on one day, and splurge the next day xD
Also really liked the stuff at Seico mart in Sapporo, their "hot chef" stuff made for some decent lunches too. Though my all time favourite were those karaage-kun from Lawson, I had those almost every day xD
When we went to Japan, pre-pandemic, we were lucky enough to be staying at a hotel with a supermarket just down the street. Instead of just konbinis, we also tried the prepared foods at the Life Supermarket. Their sushi, sashimi and tempura were excellent quality. You should do a supermarket prepared foods review next time.
The smaller roll cakes that come with multiple pieces are even better with a slight mochi like texture
Marry me!… sorry I couldn't control myself. Great video!
Corndogs with the mustard ketchup packet are amazing and my go to
The shrimp pasta looks so good!
Just the Best, so enjoy and Like …
I could happily live on Tamago Sandos in Japan – I almost have to force myself to got out and not hole in my hotel room and just eat from the conbini on each holiday. Plus my favorite – kiddy taste, I know – Inari Sushi, which are a super rare find here even at sushi restaurants, are available in *bulk*.
She better do some exercise, eating too well
I wished there is a Japanese section in some of the 7 Eleven in the states. Some of the desserts or rice bowls would be a good introduction for Americans…
I was in Japan for the 1st time this year and one of the 1st things I had to eat was the egg sandwich (7-11) because of all the hype. Hell if it wasn't amazing. Egg salad was creamy and well seasoned and the white bread was like pillows of goodness. The smoothies and the smoothie machine were eye opening. Why they are not in the US is unbelievable. Over the course of 2 weeks I was in and out of convenience stores many times and the quality, price, variety were staggering. All 3 companies were fantastic. I can't wait to go back to Japan for many reasons…..the convenience stores are certainly on my list!
😊😊😊😊😊
the featured 7-11 is bringing back a lot of memories; i've been to the Anytime Fitness next door just 2 months ago!
日本のマナーやルールは、ちゃんと守ってくれな・・・
自分の国でOKなことでも、他の国じゃNGなことが有るんだからな。
my friend says you're his girlfriend, how could it be? we went out officially years ago
I absolutely love egg sandwiches, so upset that I completely forgot to try them in Japan, definitely next time. Love pancakes, absolutely prefer a restaurant / making them at home. Yum corn soup. Absolutely count me all the way in for watermelon juice. I will buy it by the case. Absolutely Outstanding From Start To Finish // Absolutely Loved Every Minute
Best job ever
The background music is really loud and distracting. A bit annoying really.😕
It's convenient but darn, all those microplastics are gonna harm you
Weight conscious. I can see it all over your body language which make me doubt your reviews.
The only correct way to have the pancakes is to get them at familymart and put famichiki in between the pancakes
I like your vid. Can I azsk what gear you are using please?
hope you can collab with sonny again ..i really like your chemistry together ,,,😁
thanks for the 7-11 Lore! definitely should be renamed to 7-24 for a change
i love your contents, love kombini stores in japan! we used to have all three brands in indonesia, but the foods suck, big different than the japan stores sadly
Japanese pasta is so underrated
SORRY I DISAGREE WITH U, I WENT TO 7-11, LAWSONS AND FAMILY MARKET WAS NOT IMPRESSED. I THINK I HAD 6 HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICHES IT WAS CALLED THE LETTACE SANDWICH ONE ICE CREAM AND TRIED 3 TYPES OF FIRED CHICKEN FROM LAWSON'S IT WAS DARK MEAT, FATTY AND GROSS WENT RIGHT IN THE TRASH. THE VENDING MACHINE WERE NOT GOOD I HAD ONE COKE. THIS WAS OVER 4 WEEKS THERE IN MAY.
I CHECKED OUT TOKYO AND 5 OTHER CITIES. EVEN THE MICKY D'S WAS YUCKY THEY PUT SAUCE ON THE BUGER AND EGG MACMUFFIN WTF!! I SHOULD HAVE TRIED DENNY'S. ALL I ATE THERE WERE 2 MEALS A DAY BREAKFAST WAS COFFEE, EGGS AND TOAST LUNCH/DINNER WAS PIZZA AND COKE FROM THE LITTLE BAKERY IN TOKYO.. IN NYC U STILL GET ONE DOLLAR A SLICE NOT HERE.
WALKED ALOT AND DRANK TONS OF WATER IT WAS HOT AND HUMID. I DID LOSE A FEW POUNDS. THE ONLY THIN I LIKE I JAPAN WERE THE 3 THEME PARKS ONLY 50 USD NO LINES NOT CROWDED AND LENTY OF PRETTY JAPANESE GIRLS IN CUTE OUTFITS
IAM A CRUST PERSON I WAS BUMMED THEY CUT OFF MY SANDWICH CRUST WTF
MAYBE I WAS DISAPOINTED ABOUT JAPAN SINCE MY FRIEND FROM TOKYO OVER HYPED IT AND I OVERRATED IT IN MY HEAD. MOST PEOPLE LOVE JAPAN NOT ME. LAST TIME THE TIME DIFFERENCE FROM NYC TO JAPAN TOO MUC FOR ME. WHEN I WAS AWAKE THERE, I SHOULD BE SLEEPING WHEN I WAS SLEEPING THERE, I SHOULD BE AWAKE.
I EVEN THOUGHT TO RETIRE IN JAPAN BEFORE MY TRIP. TURNS OUT JAPAN DOES NOT OFFER A RETIREMENT VISA. PLUS NOBODY WANTS OR CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. SPEAKING ENGLISH IS VERY UNJAPANESE PLUS JAPAN IS WAHT 99 PERCENR JAPANESE. PLUS THEY REALLY DONT LIKE TOURIST.
TO SOME UP JAPAN ITS LIKE THE BOOK AND MOVIE 1984.
How do you still look so slim and beautiful eating all these food! ❤
In my 2 weeks there last month, all I ate for breakfast were the banana crepe I bought from Family mart.
Feature the Onigiri Girl at Hiroshima.
