Walking Tour of Atsuta Shrine | Nagoya Japan

Atsuta Shrine (熱田神宮, Atsuta Jingū) is one of the most important Shinto shrines in Japan, located in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture.
In this video, you can experience the real atmosphere of a shrine visit — starting from the main gate, walking through the forest paths, purifying hands at the water basin (temizuya), and reaching the main hall (honden).
On the day of filming, a traditional Shinto dance performance was also held as part of a dedication ritual, which you can see in the video.
Atsuta Shrine is especially famous for enshrining the legendary sword Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, one of the three Imperial Regalia of Japan.
Every year, more than 7 million visitors come to Atsuta Shrine to pray and enjoy its sacred atmosphere.
