Naomi Osaka is in a bit of a tennis match with Nick and Vanessa Lachey, as the “Love Is Blind” hosts have bought their previous Los Angeles home back.

Located in the Tarzana neighborhood, the Lacheys bought the property in December 2020 for just over $5 million. Less than two years later in February 2022, they sold it to Osaka for $6.266 million, according to Zillow. Now, as of Aug. 8, the famous couple has bought it back for $7.95 million — over $1.6 million more than they sold it to her for. The Lacheys were represented by Mauricio Umansky and Craig Knizek of the Agency and Osaka was represented by Amy Snider of Compass, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Don’t Miss:

Osaka was listing the home for $8.295 million, although it wasn’t officially available for sale at the time of the purchase, according to the Journal. Just last year, the Lacheys purchased an Encino home for $6.1 million, but it’s been listed for $7.495 million. It’s unknown what motivated the 98 Degrees boy band singer and the model to want the Tarzana property back.

The two-story home sits on a 0.68-acre lot and has 6,855 square feet of living space, according to the Compass listing. It features five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Highlights include maid’s quarters, a home theater, a sauna, a family room on the first floor and a second one upstairs and a guest house. The kitchen has two huge islands, and the living room has a fireplace and leads out to the backyard that includes a covered dining area. Outside there’s a four-car garage, an in-ground pool and a hot tub. There’s also a pickleball court, but we wouldn’t doubt that Osaka used it as her own personal tennis court while she called this place home.

Osaka has certainly made her mark on the property during the short three years she was there. In the gym, she has her logo of a bear holding a flower emblazoned on the floor. There are also neon signs with motivational sayings, including “if it was easy, everyone would do it.”

The property was built in 2014 and was once owned by “Tarzan” author Edgar Rice Burroughs, according to the Journal. Osaka made a pretty penny on this deal, so hopefully she’s headed somewhere she loves even more.
