Rakuten Sixth-graders from Kanemu-cho, Okinawa, the camp site of the Rakuten Mobile, were invited to visit their home base on the 22nd. As part of the “Dream Wings Project 2025/Summer” to promote exchange between children in Tohoku and Okinawa, 23 students from 5 teams of boys baseball from Kanatake-machi participated. they arrived in Sendai on the 21st and visited the stadium on the 22nd after a joint practice with 25 5th and 6th graders from 4 Tohoku prefectures.

After observing the pre-game batting practice, infielder Hiroto Kobukata and outfielder Yuya Ogo appeared as special guests. While answering questions from elementary school students, Ambassador Ginji asked, “How can I become a professional baseball player?” Kofuda replied, “I’m not a big guy, so I’ve always had the desire not to lose to bigger guys,” while Ogo told the children, “Keep the desire to become a professional baseball player.” Afterward, they watched Rakuten vs. Orix game that took place that day, and will return to Okinawa on the 23rd. Participant Kazuka Amaku (6th grade) was excited to see the players up close, saying, “It was cool. I want to see home run!”
