Tokyo is the final competition park in the Pro Skater 3 section of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, and with it comes both the most difficult competition and challenges you’ll find across the entire game. Thankfully, there are a few extra collectibles scattered throughout to help round out both your stats and any collectibles you’d like to purchase.

This walkthrough details everything you need to know about achieving 100% completion in Tokyo, including tips for earning the gold medal as well as finding all secret collectibles, including Skaterbucks, Stat Points, Iron Galaxy Logos, and Hidden Decks.

Tips For Earning a Gold Medal in Tokyo

The most important thing you can do is implement as many Special tricks as possible. Go into your Tricks menu and make sure you have equipped some Special tricks for grinds and manuals that you can use in place of the default ones. Linking several of these in one combo will net you a higher score from the judges at the end of each heat. Air Specials are also helpful, as long as you work out the timing you need to land them reliably.

TokyoTips1.png

You’ll also want to extend your combos for as long as possible. Ensure your grinds land in manuals if they don’t lead to other rails, and that your air tricks continue into manuals or grinds for maximum points. Most importantly, play out all three of your heats! The worst one will get removed anyway, so don’t waste a great run because of one bad heat!

All Tokyo Collectible LocationsStat Point #1

The first Stat point follows the same path as if you were getting the Panda Plushie: Start by hugging the right wall and skating towards the back corner.

TokyoPlush1.png

The ramp at the end features a small platform on the right side, which you can use to perform a Vert Break (R2/RT) to reach the top. Just be careful not to go too far, or you’ll land on the train tracks and get kicked out of the level. Once you reach the top, turn around, and you’ll see a string of lanterns you can grind on.

TokyoPlush2.png

Grind on them to the end, and they’ll lead you back to the roof of where you spawn in, where you’ll see a Stat Point on the wires.

TokyoPlush3.png

Stat Point #2

The second stat point is much easier to get; head up the ramp on the left side and grind on the rail to reach another stat point.

TokyoStatPoint2.png

Stat Point #3

The final stat point can be reached by skating to the opposite end of the park(where the train tracks are), and airing up, just like you would to get the previous stat point. This time, however, you’ll want to head in the opposite direction, grinding on the neon sign to reach the final stat point.

TokyoStatPoint3.png

Skaterbucks #1

Near the edges of the park are neon, holographic cubes; on the right side, you’ll see two of these in a row. There’s a Skaterbucks collectible hidden in the second one.

TokyoSB1.png

Skaterbucks #2

The last two Skaterbucks are a little more involved. For this next one, skate to the other side of the skate park(the side with the train tracks). Once you do turn around and face the ramps, you want the dark ramp on the right, not the brighter one leading to the higher floor.

TokyoSB2part1.png

With a full Special meter, jump off the top of the ramp with a Boneless, aiming for the floating platform in the center.

TokyoSB2part2.png

Once you land, jump off the other end of the platform to grab the collectible.

TokyoSB2part3.png

Skaterbucks #3

The last Skaterbucks collectible follows a similar path to getting the Panda Plushie, taking the same route you use to open the second part of the level. Start by skating to the other end and airing up to the train track. You want to take the path to the right, grinding on the string lights.

TokyoPlush3.png

Once you reach the platform above where you begin, repeat the process on the other string lights. This will lead you to the last Skaterbucks collectible, placed between a tricky jump between grinds at the end of the building’s rails.

TokyoSB3.png

Iron Galaxy Logo

First, skate to the other end of the park and air up towards the train tracks. Towards the left, you’ll see a neon sign; behind it is a half-pipe, hiding the Logo.

TokyoSC1.png

Jump behind the sign and air up the side of the halfpipe facing the track to reach the Logo.

TokyoSC2.png

Secret Deck

You’ll likely find the secret deck as you find the other collectibles in this level, but if you’re looking to grab it right away, you can do so by skating to the other side of the map, then airing up to the train tracks, and then turning right. You’ll see some string lights you can grind on, leading towards where you began your run.

TokyoPlush2.png

At the end of the rail, you’ll see a platform directly above where you began; the Secret Deck will be on the back of that platform.

All Tokyo ChallengesHow to Complete Winter Hotpot Challenge

As this is one of the last challenges you’ll need to complete for the game, Winter Hotpot is one of the more difficult challenges you’ll need to complete; both gaps are on opposite sides of the map, and you’ll need to maintain your manual and grinds for a fair amount of time. Make sure both of those stats, along with your Ollie and Hangtime stats, are at max before you attempt this; otherwise, you’ll have a much more difficult time.

Before you can attempt it, you’ll first need to open the secret area. Start by hugging the right wall and skating towards the back corner, airing up to where the train tracks are. From there, turn right and ride the string lights back towards where you began.

TokyoPlush2.png

The lights will take you to a platform with another set of string lights running towards the other wall. You’ll need to skate towards the large neon sign on that side of the park. At the end of each rail, you’ll need to jump and wall ride (Triangle/Y) until you reach the next one. Your goal is to hit one of the wires holding the large sign in place, which you can reach by jumping and grinding in its direction. Once you do, the sign will fall, unlocking a new area.

TokyoPlush5.png

With the sign down, you’ll be able to reach the hidden area by first going up the ramp on the left side.

TokyoPlush6.png

At the top, jump over to the building on the left, and you’ll be able to enter the newly created hole in the wall.

TokyoPlush7.png

Now inside the area proper, skate down the ramp and jump across to the other side, then double back. You’ll need to time a Boneless (Up Up + A/X) right before the small lip leading back to the section with the ramp you entered the area on; if done correctly, you’ll land with a speed boost, which you’ll need for the next part of the challenge. If you’re too late, you’ll gain air time, but you will not have the speed needed, and you will fall between the ramps if you jump too early.

TokyoHotpot1.png

When you land, immediately turn right and use your speed to go up the ramp and grind back towards the entrance to the secret area.

TokyoHotpot2.png

To make it from the rail back to the entrance, you’ll need to time your jump right as the rail begins to curve to make it back towards the entrance, then skate through to the initial area.

TokyoHotpot3.png

At the bottom of the ramp is a small lip leading back to the original area. Jump before the lip to maintain your speed, and then head towards the window directly across from you.

TokyoHotpot4.png

Break the glass and grind on the rail, jumping just before the rail curves to the right.

TokyoHotpot5.png

This will give you enough speed to air up from the small lip next to the punk hologram, letting you grind on the rail next to it to complete the challenge.

TokyoHotpot6.png

How to Complete To Die For Challenge

Start by skating to the other end of the skate park, where the blue half-pipes are; you’ll need a full special meter to get the air you need for the gap. Once you do, skate towards the ramp with the blue and red arrows.

TokyoTDF1.png

At the top of the ramp, hold Up and jump; instead of going straight up, you’ll move at an angle towards the floating blue platform. This may take a few tries, and you may need to perform a Boneless(Up Up + X/A) to get some extra air. Going from the ramp to the platform will complete the gap and the challenge.

All Tokyo Gaps

The following is a list of all Gaps available at the Tokyo level; completing all 85 will complete the Tokyo Gaps challenge.

Other Secrets and CollectiblesTokyo Panda Plushie Location

Tokyo’s Panda will require some preparation, starting with opening the secret area that leads to the other half of the skate park. Start by hugging the right wall and skating towards the back corner.

Grind on them to the end, and they’ll lead you back to the roof of where you spawn in.

TokyoPlush3.png

Once you land on the roof, you’ll find another string of lanterns leading towards the west side of the map, along with a large, circular neon sign.

Start your grind towards the neon sign.

Once you enter, go down the ramp and turn to the right, where you’ll see a small section of halfpipes.

TokyoPlush8.png

On the halfpipe connected to the ramp you came in on, you can Vert Break again to reach the lip of the ramp. One section will appear to split into two directions; the plushie is hidden on the rightmost path.

TokyoPlush9.png

Skate along the edge–being careful not to fall into the pit–and you’ll see a small, almost hidden platform in the middle with the plushie.
