I’m back after the Obon Holiday! Here’s a property I viewed in Chiba. It’s a solid home that to me looked pretty structurally sound. However there were some issues with the floor on the first floor. There were a lot of soft areas. I think it’s possibly due to being so close to the ocean as the foundation underneath looked like it was pretty solid and with no issues. Reflooring wouldn’t be crazy expensive. Probably around 1K-1.5K USD for a lower end floor. More if you’re wanting real wood.
