3 Places Locals Warn You NOT to Visit in Japan in 2025 | Dangerous Places | #Japan, #traveltips

Thinking of visiting Japan in 2025? Locals say there are 3 places you might want to avoid.
First, the Fukushima Nuclear Zone. After the 2011 earthquake and nuclear disaster, parts of this area are still off-limits due to lingering radiation. I’ve been there myself, and some zones remain strictly restricted.
Second, Osaka’s Nishinari district. Known for its rough streets, high number of homeless people, and bad reputation for safety. I’ve walked there—it’s definitely unique. But budget travelers sometimes call it the ‘cool, cheap’ side of Osaka.
Third, Aokigahara Forest near Mt. Fuji. Famous for its haunting atmosphere and sadly, for being Japan’s most notorious suicide site. When I visited, my phone lost signal almost instantly, and the energy felt… chilling. I turned back quickly.
