Nagasaki, sole port in isolation #Shorts

Nagasaki is a port city rich in history for having embraced foreign cultures as the only trading port during Japan’s isolationist period, while also offering modern-day charm.
Highlights of the visit included the Inasayama Observatory, selected as one of the New Three Major Night Views of the World, and the Former Glover Residence, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Although We weren’t able to see the renowned night view, it was a deeply moving journey—captivated by the weight of the city’s history and the beauty of its natural surroundings.
