15 Hours Flying Japan’s Best Airline in Business Class! | Tokyo🇯🇵 – Paris🇫🇷

Good morning from Tokyo, Japan. Today, we are going to be flying business class, from Tokyo to Paris using ANA, a Japanese Airline. It’s known worldwide as the best blue-themed Airline, even beating the great United Airline. This is the route.  ANA’s Tokyo to Paris flight now takes a longer route, crossing Eurasia through China, Kazakhstan, and Europe to avoid Russian airspace before descending into Europe. Around 14 hours and 35 minutes of flight time and a distance of approximately 12,000km. Even if I get 8 hours of sleep, I’d still roughly have 6 more hours. The cost is covered by 57,500 ANA miles plus a ¥40,000/ $270 surcharge on this trip, though it can vary by season. It’s a long and early 09:35 AM flight. Let’s check in and head to the ANA Business Class Lounge. I got my boarding pass, NH215. I think it’s my first time visiting this lounge, but I’m not so sure. The ANA LOUNGE. ANA is a member of the Star Alliance Group. Wow. It’s like a reception at a luxury hotel. Wooden planks heading back to the nearest Home Depot, I suppose. Maybe there’s like a hidden figure if shot from a certain angle. Hmm. Nope. Just planks. There are a lot of people in the morning. The ANA Lounge offers a well‑rounded drink lineup, including a quality selection of beer, spirits, wine, sake, and umeshu, including award‑winning California sparkling and premium Japanese sake. The buffet offers hot and cold dishes including Japanese staples (onigiri, inari, curry), ramen noodle bar, and salad. No sign of Greek yogurt. I want to try the ramen, and to order, you scan a QR code at your seat. They will text you when it’s ready. Food court style. I got the tonkotsu ramen. Nothing beats a bowl of ramen before leaving Japan. ??? Cool rice dispenser.
I wanted to try the chicken curry and some salad, but I kept the portions small since there will be in-flight meals coming. I think the curry has improved since  the last time I tried it. Smells good, tastes good. Thanks for the meal. Since it’s a 14.5-hour flight, I’ll shower now using the available facilities. 1 hour wait!?!? Well, I will have to wait until Paris for showering. Still feeling sleepy. I wonder if there’s a lounging chair nearby. Feeling refreshed, well-fed, and ready for the long flight ahead. They even had a place like this. I think I actually slept surprisingly well. It was actually pretty relaxing. What’s this place I just can’t ignore? It’s a Japanese standard, but the world’s gold standard: the bidet toilet! 👏 I know I’m going to miss you. Thanks very much. Let’s head to the gate now. Only 30 minutes until departure, better hurry! Long time no fly… exciting! One step closer to Parisian croissants. The Boeing 787-9 has 48 seats arranged
in a 1-2-1, staggered configuration. Time to board.   I’m glad there don’t seem to be any delays. Departing on time is actually not something to be taken for granted. It’s all thanks to the countless people working behind the scenes. Let’s head this way. These seats are nearly a decade old. This is my seat today:, 9K. These seats are now considered ANA’s older business-class product, as they are being phased out in favor of newer suites like THE Room FX, which is expected to debut on this route in 2026. The good news is that all seats have direct aisle access. Now seated in ANA’s business class, I got a Welcome drink. There is no First class seats. There are 215 seats with Business, Premium Economy and Economy seats. I’ve got a fully flat seat with adjustable recline, legrest, and lumbar support. The seat pitch is 157 cm, and it extends to about 180-190 cm in full length. There’s a large side table where I can place drinks, devices, or snacks. Under the ottoman, there’s storage space for shoes or small bags. The seat comes with both a universal power outlet and a USB port for charging. An 18-inch touchscreen panel is built in for entertainment. There’s a personal reading light I can adjust above the side table. A “Do Not Disturb” light can be switched on to let the crew know I’m resting. Today’s plane might be rare. It’s using recycled fuel. The airplane is getting ready for takeoff. We were meant to go via Russia, but plans have changed. Now we’re taking a different route. Hopefully, the flight will be just fine. Goodbye Haneda Airport. there’s a big bamboo shoot in the middle of the bay. Zozo marine stadium. Tokyo Disney land should be around here somewhere. Is that it. Beautiful day for a Birds Eye view of Tokyo. What mountain is that? Wow That’s Mount Fuji. Well well well… Even without snow in summer, Mt. Fuji looks impressive. Beautiful summer views. Here’s are the amenities. The amenity kit has changed from the suitcase-like kits, to these blue pouches. London on a Japanese airline …made in USA. Very international. The amenity kit includes… A Toothbrush kit. AVEDA lip balm &body lotion. An eye mask. Earplugs. And a grocery bag, cool. All packed in a stylish ETTINGER pouch made from eco-friendly materials. Up next, a look at the bedding and other features. A soft blanket. I don’t remember the blankets like this.  It can be tucked away like a Uniqlo down jacket. A dual-layer Egyptian cotton pillow. Mattress. Slippers make it easy to go in and out of bed. Sony on-ear noise-canceling headphones. Not as good as the over-ear models. I won’t be using them since I rarely watch movies during flights, but here is the movie selection. Let’s take a look at the movie selection.  There are over 300 movies and shows to choose from. Now it’s time for my meal. It’s around noon in Japan, so it’s lunch. Or is it breakfast because it’s morning in Paris? For Japanese airlines, having the option between Japanese cuisine and international cuisine is a staple. The international cuisine looks very attractive. I’m going with the international cuisine. There are lots of drink options from Sake to Shochu to Wine. And here’s what I’ll be having. Champagne in this glass, such a stylish and refreshing twist. I’ll start with an amuse that includes ANA’s original nut and chili pie stick along with a bite of gizzard, cheese, and olive. Olives? The amuse is even European. Such a delicate taste. Passing by South Korea. It took 3 days just to get to Busan but with a plane it took less than an hour. For the appetizer, I’ll have a corn and beef cheek composition, some seasonal seafood set in a clear bouillabaisse aspic, and a tomato mousse with marinated vegetables. Sounds fancy, I didn’t understand half of what I just said. I’ll just nod just to make myself look like I understand it. Let’s give this a try. Corn and beef cheek composition. I expected cake, but it tasted like beef. It’s not cake it’s beef. Is it just me, or does French cuisine also inspire the meals? Like, “bouillabaisse” sounds very French.   And it is a collaboration between a French restaurant. It’s not just this route since they’re serving French cuisine on other routes to Europe, too, so it was a nice surprise to have it on the flight to Paris. What a coincidence. Seasonal seafood set in a clear bouillabaisse aspic. Seafood? There was a scallop. This meal is fun. It’s like digging for fossils. Tomato mousse with marinated vegetables. ! Tastes like McDonald’s because of the dill. Do fancy people eat these kinds of salads? Flying over Seoul. About half of South Korea’s entire population lives in Seoul, creating a serious concentration in the capital. Apartment prices have skyrocketed, ranking fourth highest in the world. reportedly more than double those in Tokyo. It’s starting to smell really good on board. When it’s time for the main, the international meal has 2 options. I choose the beef fillet steak over the steamed flounder. Well, that’s because the breakfast menu will also have fish. Chasseur, Dugléré, Viennoise? More nodding. Good exercise for the neck. I know that beef is commonly paired with red wine, so I ordered the Chateau Puygueraud 2019. When you order intentional cuisine,   you can request rice, which I did not because it comes with risotto. Let’s cut open the beef before it cooks itself. Inside the beef was beef. Let it bathe in the Chasseur Sauce and into my mouth. Perfectly cooked, with a sauce that’s out of this world. I love potato salad. very good The last one bite… I keep forgetting about the wine. When was the last time I had steak? It was delicious. Thanks for the food. For dessert, I’ll enjoy a cheese and pistachio mousse from Ginza L’écrin. When I read cheese and pistachio mousse, I thought I would be getting sliced cheese, but instead I got white chocolate. And the pistachio mousse sits below the cheese. ? This meal alone has ~Produced by “Ginza L’écrin”~ I think it’s representing their best meal because it is good. Earl grey tea has never tasted this good before. Thanks for the happy meal. I will now go to the restroom. This is the business class washroom. The toilet paper is pink. I’m sure things like the bidet aren’t too different from economy, but you do get extra amenities like a toothbrush and other small items. What started as just a regular toilet during   takeoff in Tokyo becomes a top 0.1% toilet in Paris. After a good meal, I’ll get a good night’s rest. The most important function of all seats is that they turn into a full flat bed. We’re now flying over the China. Everything below us is China. By the time I wake up, we’ll be flying over the Middle East. It’s still noon in Japan, but I don’t understand the magic of air travel. Somehow, it does make you feel sleepy.
Good night. Good morning, had a good nap. lying over somewhere in China. It’s like a desert. If you come to Japan in April, you will see yellow particles that look like pollen. That’s is actually just sand that flew all the way from this area. The China or Mongolian desert. Every allergic people’s worst nightmare. Just thinking about sand causes my nose to itch. Apparently business class passengers get free wifi. I got the code. It’s just fast enough for a search. In ANA, there’s an order any time meal. There is the Miso ramen. I’ve heard that beer and ramen make a great combination, but I was hesitant to try it since beer can be expensive at restaurants. However, beer is free up here, so I figured why not give it a try. The soup is quite light. I remember there was Ippudo ramen, but I guess their contract expired, and it is now an ANA original ramen. Maybe the Ippudo ramen was reverse-engineered because it tastes familiar. This is some good stuff. And I just realized, it’s even vegan?!?! !?!? I don’t even like Miso ramen, but this was good. Guys, when will beer start tasting good????? It still tastes weird. Now this is what I’m talking about. Rice with ramen soup. Calories… Upon calories. no, I had it. And to top it off… Hagen Daz with Suntory World Whiskey Ao. A blend made from whiskies sourced from five major whisky-producing regions: Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Canada, and Japan. It’s like the avengers of whiskey. (Source: me.) I thought I only ordered the whiskey as on the rocks but the ice cream is also a hard as rocks. I will wait… Hurray. With dinner, a nap, and ramen and ice cream… We are finally… On the half way there. Lol. This is such a long flight. Flying over Kazakhstan. What is that river? It’s like a dragon. Unlike the desert, there are actual cities. Final third of the flight. It’s time to choose between the two breakfasts. I did opt for the international meal so I will go for the Japanese Cuisine breakfast. I got sake, not just any sake but from the “god of brewing” Noguchi Naohiko Sake Institute “YAMAHAI MIYAMANISHIKI 2019 Vintage” You don’t really notice the outline of cloud shadows on land, but from up here it’s quite visible. A weird feeling. It’s like seeing the end of the rainbow. The cloud looks like the UK. My breakfast is here. Since I’ve started working out recently, I’ve been thinking more about my health. A traditional Japanese breakfast feels healthy and gentle on the body. This Octopus is great. Why is this rice wavy anyway? The rice tastes better than imagined. Grilled Greenland Halibut. Tastes great, very soft. Thanks for the breakfast. That is apparently Budapest. And thats Vienna. So that must be the Moldova river. Kinda brown. Vienna was much smaller than I imagined. With about an hour left, the plane is descending. What a beautiful sight. Lots of farmland around this area. The land isn’t gridded like you see in European cities. Unlike the grid-like layouts in many cities,   much of the farmland appears irregular when seen from the air. I wonder if it has to do with the remnants of how land was lent from the Middle Ages. You can see the golden wheat farms from up here. I can’t tell if that’s just dirt or wheat. All I know is that it’s harvesting season. Much of the wheat is grown in Northern France, so… The croissant I’m going to eat might have ingredients from this region. Could it be that farm, or maybe it’s that farm? If the airplane had taken the North Pole route I would be seeing Eiffel Tower right in front of me. From today onwards, that tree is the Eiffel Tower. Congratulations on the promotion. Bonjour. Another happy landing. Arrived in Paris, CDG airport. I thought I was on the usual blue plane… but apparently, I flew in on this Eco green one. Today I booked my hotel in Paris. I will take the easiest and fastest Train. (RER B) It takes around 30–35 minutes to Gare du Nord. Trains run every ~15 minutes from about 05:00 to midnight. Ticket costs ≈ €13. Wow summer is really nice here in Paris. Made it to Gare de Lyon. My hotel is just across the Station. It was like 70 euros.  Quite cheap considering the it’s summer. Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? How does it like? This is the room. Pretty nice for 70 euros. It’s 7pm, but sunsets at around 9pm so I still got time left to travel. But I’m going to sleep. My mission is to eat a croissant in front of the Eiffel Tower. I’ll do that tomorrow. Good morning. I checked out and left my belongings at the hotel. I was going to walk to the Eiffel Tower,   but it looks like it’s going to take 2 hours, so I’m going to the Boat. There’s this hop-on, hop-off boat service that runs along the River Seine. The Batobus. What a confusing name. Name it batoboat at least🐮 Most major landmarks are near the Seine River, so this is a great way to enjoy a scenic ride. There are probably hundreds of bakeries. This place looks good. Bought my croissant. Perfectly flaky… très bien! I need the Eiffel Tower. Alright, let’s take a walk. There are tons of cafes. Let’s go by train. I will go That Place. I bought a croissant again for this. Now for the tower. We’ve arrived. Eiffel Tower. The flight from Tokyo to Paris was a long one, but with business class it was a delightful ride. Mission complete. Thank you for watching! See you in the next video! Have a nice day!

Now you say you're working out and you are thinking more about your health. I am a lot older than you son and I'm going to tell you that you need to stop drinking alcohol if you really want to be healthy. You intake a lot of alcohol (

Just remember every time you put alcohol on your body you're raising your blood sugar which isn't good for you and you're taxing your liver at the same time.

Just have some sparkling water instead. You'll be a lot healthier and your workouts will actually start to do good things for you❤
