仙台車站周邊有什麼?一邊走一邊吃的輕鬆旅程【一日散步逛街之旅】
Hello everyone Welcome to Mita World Today we’re taking you To explore some great spots and local eats Around Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture This route takes about half a day But if we slow down a bit It can easily become a relaxing one-day walk We started at JR Sendai Station The station itself has many Shops and food spots to check out We first went to the third floor To the zunda specialty store Zundasaryō And bought one of Sendai’s most iconic local specialties Zunda shake And zunda mochi At first we thought turning edamame into a drink would taste weird But it was surprisingly good The bean flavor blended nicely with the milk Sweet but not too much And we actually wanted to get another one The mochi and zunda combo Was also a nice surprise The chewy mochi Paired with smooth zunda paste Had a sweet and savory flavor With rich bean aroma It tasted refreshing and not heavy at all Perfect for an afternoon snack or souvenir The shop also sells many other Zunda-based products So it’s worth browsing around (Dine-in area) On the second floor of the station There’s another zunda specialty shop called Kikusuian They also offer a variety of edamame desserts and souvenirs We bought Their popular item Called Nomu Zunda to taste the flavor It was slightly different from Zundasaryō’s version This one was a bit milkier and sweeter But personally We liked Kikusuian’s zunda shake more It has mochi mixed into the drink Which helps balance out the sweetness And gives it a richer texture It felt like we were drinking zunda shake While eating zunda mochi at the same time So we got to enjoy two experiences at once However Only the Kikusuian in Sendai Sells Nomu Zunda Making it a local exclusive Just remember to order the Nomu Zunda If you want the version with mochi After having our treat we left the sendai station And walked about 5 minutes from the west exit To reach Sendai Asaichi Market At first glance it looks like just a short alleyway But it’s actually known as Sendai’s Kitchen Where locals shop for fresh ingredients every day The market’s history Dates back to 1945 after World War II At that time Sendai had been heavily damaged And supplies were scarce So people started setting up stalls near the station To sell vegetables and seafood Over time more and more joined in And it slowly turned into a lively marketplace Later it was organized and developed Into the current Sendai Asaichi Today in Sendai Asaichi There are over 60 shops Most open around 7:30 in the morning And stay open until around 6 in the evening There are fresh fruits and veggies Seafood caught the same day, dried goods Grains, ready-to-eat meals, bentos and desserts The selection is really diverse After checking out Sendai Asaichi We walked About 7 minutes north To reach the shopping district of Aoba-dōri This is a covered arcade street So it’s perfect to visit Whether it’s sunny or rainy Located near the west exit of Sendai Station Aoba Street is one of the most vibrant shopping areas in the city center Along the way there are many department stores And unique shops like PARCO and Loft It’s also a popular spot for young people To hang out or go on dates The street’s history Dates back to the early Shōwa era When it was a key spot For locals to buy daily necessities At the time there were many general stores, drugstores, clothing shops and diners It was a vital part of everyday life After post-war rebuilding and rapid growth The roof was added And Aoba-dōri expanded Now it’s connected with other shopping streets like Chūō-dōri and Ichibanchō And has grown into a bustling pedestrian zone With hundreds of shops We even found a Pokémon manhole cover here Close to lunchtime We walked north along Aoba-dōri Toward Burandōmu Ichibangai After reaching the end of the street And crossing the traffic light we walked another 3 minutes To get to a soup curry restaurant Called 43rd Parallel North Operates in two time slots: lunch(11AM to 3:30PM) And dinner(5:30PM to 9PM) Closed on Tuesdays This shop originated in Sapporo And is famous for its soup-style curry Instead of a thick sauce The curry is more like a flavorful broth filled with large toppings Like chicken legs, veggies or seafood What’s special about soup curry Is that we can taste The spicy curry and all the spices directly We can also choose the toppings And level of spiciness to match our preference The flavor was layered And really good After lunch We returned to Burandōmu Ichibangai And walked about 18 minutes Through Aoba-dōri Ichibanchō To reach Tohoku University This national university has over 100 years of history And is one of Japan’s top research schools It was founded in 1907 Becoming the third imperial university After the University of Tokyo and Kyoto University Since the beginning The school has emphasized openness and practical learning For example in 1913 It became the first university in Japan To admit female students Which was very progressive at the time They also welcomed international students early on Which was rare back then This university also places a strong emphasis on research Fields like science, medicine and information technology Have all performed well internationally Many Japanese companies Also collaborate with the research departments here To apply academic results in real-world settings The campus is also really beautiful We visited Aobayama Campus The hub for science and engineering Which is surrounded by greenery It’s a very relaxing place to take a walk Then we walked about 5 minutes To Murakamiyamochi-ten a famous old dessert shop near the university This shop was founded in 1877 And is said to be one of The origins of zunda mochi It’s open from 9AM to 6PM But closed Monday through Wednesday So be sure to check the schedule before visiting Zunda mochi was originally A dessert for Date Masamune And this shop helped make it A signature treat of Sendai The shop itself is small And doesn’t have many seats So most people choose to take out We bought a box of zunda mochi to go The edamame paste was finely ground And had a rich aroma but wasn’t too sweet Paired with chewy mochi The texture was amazing On the same street as Murakamiya There’s a Chinese restaurant that specializes in mapo dishes You might wonder What’s so special about this place Actually there’s a local specialty in Sendai Called mapo yakisoba It was first created By accident in a Chinese restaurant In the city back in 1970 And gradually became a well-known local dish At Chūgoku Meshiya Chikuchiku Can try this unique mapo yakisoba The interior Has a bamboo-themed design That creates a calm and relaxed vibe Perfect for a casual meal Besides Chinese food The restaurant also serves many Japanese izakaya-style dishes With a wide variety of options They’re open from 11AM to 2PM for lunch And 5PM to 9PM for dinner Closed on Sundays and national holidays It’s about a 5-minute walk from Tohoku University Or a 15-minute walk from Sendai Station There’s another great local dish in Sendai Called seri nabe (Japanese Parsley Hotpot) It’s a seasonal hotpot only available in winter The broth is light and flavorful With the unique aroma of Japanese parsley And a hint of spiciness Making it really warming to the stomach Both the stems and leaves are used And as we eat Can feel the warmth spreading through body Since the parsley season is short Most places only offer it during winter Making it a hidden seasonal gem If you visit Sendai in the colder months We definitely recommend giving it a try This relaxing day trip around Sendai Station Included everything from local specialties And lively markets To a historic university And some seriously good food The whole day’s itinerary was relaxing but still felt really fulfilling We also got to know and taste many of Sendai’s Unique dishes Sasa kamaboko Seri hotpot All kinds of zunda treats Mapo yakisoba These are all things we think are worth trying if you’re visiting Sendai Whether it’s your first time here Or you want to slowly enjoy the city’s charm The area around the station is definitely a great place to explore for a day That’s it for today’s video Thanks for watching
