Naomi Osaka has sold a San Fernando Valley property back to its previous owners—Nick and Vanessa Lachey—for just under $8 million.
According to The Robb Report, the tennis star bought the Tarzana home off-market in 2022 for $6.3 million and later made upgrades, then listed it in June for $8.3 million. The Lacheys—best known as co-hosts of Netflix’s Love Is Blind—ultimately repurchased the residence for slightly below the ask, and paying roughly $1.7 million more than Osaka’s 2022 price.
The house has a bit of history. The Lacheys originally acquired the East Coast traditional-style property from former NFL wide receiver Randall Cobb in late 2020 for just over $5 million, then sold it to Naomi Osaka less than two years later.
During her ownership, Osaka renovated and added a separate structure outfitted as a gym and recovery center—complete with neon motivational signage.
Set behind double gates on a cul-de-sac lot of more than half an acre, the 2014-built residence spans about 7,000 square feet across two levels, with five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. A four-car garage anchors the motor court, providing additional space for up to 20 vehicles.
Inside, dark hardwood floors and expansive glass capture valley and mountain views.
The kitchen features dual islands, high-end stainless-steel appliances, and a breakfast nook. Pocketing doors connect a coffered-ceiling family room—featuring a fireplace and built-ins—to a covered loggia. Formal dining brings in wainscoting and patterned wall treatments.
Upstairs, the primary suite includes its own fireplace, private balcony, two walk-in closets, and a spa-style bath. Additional spaces include a media lounge and a game room with a wet bar. The backyard is arranged for recreation and entertaining, with a pool and spa, barbecue station, fire pit, and sunken sports court.
Amy Snider of Compass represented Naomi Osaka in the transaction. The Lacheys were represented by The Agency’s Mauricio Umansky and Craig Knizek.
Separately, the couple has their Encino modern farmhouse—purchased in 2024 for $6.8 million—on the market for $7.5 million, and they previously owned a home near Oahu’s Kahala Beach that they bought for $8.8 million in 2022 and sold last summer for nearly $9.5 million after NCIS: Hawaiʻi was canceled.
