Tokyo’s COOLEST Cafes For Every Vibe!

Day one in Tokyo. We are just wandering the streets when suddenly bum a temple turns into a hidden coffee. Next thing you know, we are sipping not likes local and eating cake we definitely didn’t need but totally deserve. Would you stop here or keep walking? We did what any responsible traveler would do. We went full on foodie mode. One cool thing in Japan, coffees have this super realistic plastic food outside like 3D men samples. Honestly, it kind of makes you hungry twice. Those chairs outside cafes not for relaxing. They are for waiting in line like a pro. Everyone sits quietly. No pushing, no drama. Waiting never looked so polite and chill. Check out this colorful menu. It’s like a food rainbow. And at the end, they even show you how to eat or drink everything properly. Because in Japan, even menos come with a user guide. [Music] Okay. This is for tea. Yeah. This is like Yeah. How to extract a thank you my English. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. Here I am trying my best to follow the tea instructions. Kind of like when I put together IKEA furniture. Confused but determined. Let’s hope this tea tastes better than my DIY skills. Especially for Japanese tea, there’s a special manual on how to enjoy it. Even the waitress kindly explain everything. Everything’s carefully instructed and people are super nice about it, too. [Music] I tried the matcha. Nice as always, but not the best I’ve had. At the end of the day though, I’m heading back to my trusty espresso. Can’t beat the classic kick. I tried this rich matcha from Mia Perfeur according to the menu. Loved it cold, not too sweet and mixed with creme. It was amazing. Perfect matcha chocolate wibes. My wife also loves the matcha tea and chocolate. Guess great taste runs in the family. To be honest, Japanese tea were a bit of cultural shock and a different taste. But hey, we love trying new things as always. [Music] At the end of the day, here’s what we paid. Rich matcha terina from Perfeur 835 yen, matcha latte 660 yen, and Japanese hotima 600 yen. scores. First one nine out of 10 and match eight out of 10 and the hot tea six out of 10.

☕ On our first day in Tokyo, we stumbled on one of Tokyo’s COOLEST Cafes near Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple—serving matcha drinks and Japanese cakes! A perfect hidden gem for coffee lovers and travelers.
