【海鮮丼を食べて小樽を観光!】定番スポットを徒歩で巡る|レトロでノスタルジックな街・小樽
This video introduces a 3-hour model itinerary for those interested in visiting Otaru, Hokkaido . Enjoy the departure from Narita Airport! “Happiever Channel” introduces a “3-hour model itinerary” of classic spots in Otaru, Hokkaido. If you enjoyed this video, please subscribe. We depart for Hokkaido on Peach Airlines from Narita Airport’s Terminal 1. Peach has a baggage limit of two pieces and a total weight limit of 7kg. We are careful not to exceed the baggage limit. After baggage inspection, we arrive at the departure lobby. While low-cost carriers typically use Terminal 3 at Narita Airport, Peach Airlines uses Terminal 1. There is a small shop in the boarding area. You can enjoy curry, soba noodles, and other items before boarding. Peach Airlines allows carry-on food and drinks. Alcoholic drinks are also allowed. Boarding is almost here. We are limited to two pieces of baggage, including items purchased after security check. Peach Airlines’ pink color scheme is beautiful. Peach’s seats have more legroom in the first few rows. Do you usually fly low-cost carriers? I recommend them, allowing you to travel around Japan for around 10,000 yen during normal seasons. I can see an ANA plane bound for Hawaii. I’d love to go to Hawaii someday. After takeoff, we arrived at New Chitose Airport in about an hour and a half. As we departed Narita Airport, Chiba Prefecture’s “Kujukuri Beach” came into view. It was truly mystical from the cloudy summer sky! Do you also enjoy views from airplanes? I ate the rice ball I bought before taking off. It was hearty and delicious with a hint of pepper. Over Hokkaido, this “3-hour Otaru Sightseeing Model Itinerary” allows you to enjoy Hokkaido’s classic spots, including gourmet food, shopping, and the Otaru Canal. We’ll be landing soon. You can get to Otaru from New Chitose Airport by train, via Sapporo. It’s an hour and a half from New Chitose Airport and 40 minutes from Sapporo. Sapporo and Otaru are easily accessible by train, even without a rental car. Due to a departure delay, Peach Aviation arrived 30 minutes late. We arrived at the very end of the gate at New Chitose Airport. After getting off at Sapporo Station, we headed back to Otaru! The straight, stretching tracks were very picturesque. On the way from Sapporo to Otaru, we were treated to some of Hokkaido’s most beautiful scenery. This view was so calming… Nature is wonderful! This view was the most moving part of this trip. The town came into view on the opposite bank. We were able to relax and head towards Otaru. We arrived in Otaru! The pillars were lit with gas lamp-like lights. Otaru is a popular tourist destination! The bustling atmosphere was already apparent. The “3-hour Otaru Tour Model Itinerary” includes a comprehensive guide to Otaru’s classic spots, including seafood, shopping, and the Otaru Canal. There are many trains from Sapporo to Otaru. Suica and PASMO cards are accepted even in Hokkaido. The station is charmingly romantic, and once you step outside the station, the road leading to the sea is a symbol of the town. First, let’s check out the station’s shops and facilities. There’s a convenience store, bakery, souvenir shop, and fast-food restaurant. There are coin lockers at the end of the corridor. Now, let’s go sightseeing in Otaru. Right next to Otaru Station is Sankaku Market, a staple of Otaru. I had a delicious seafood bowl there, so I’d like to share it with you. The current Otaru Station building was completed in 1934. In front of the station is the express bus terminal, which connects cities throughout Hokkaido. Walking along the road in front of Otaru Station, you’ll find the Otaru Canal. Many souvenir shops line the canal. You can see the beautiful horizon. Sankaku Market is located immediately to the left after exiting Otaru Station. This market is highly recommended for tourists. Located right next to Otaru Station, it’s easily accessible. This market, known for its delicious seafood, is a popular tourist spot. Please enjoy the market. There are many delicious seafood bowl restaurants. Apparently, many people travel from far away just to eat here. I had no idea king crabs were so big! The hairy crab is small and cute. Just looking at this luxurious seafood is a joy. The signs for Otaru Beer and Sapporo Classic are also appealing. The king crab market, larger than a hand, resonates with the energetic voices of shopkeepers. I wonder how much this hairy crab costs? (Staff member) It’s about 14,000 yen($95). (Staff member) It’s about 12,500 yen($85). Which seafood bowl would you like to eat? Both restaurants offer seafood bowls where you can choose your own toppings. There was a restaurant with a 1-hour wait at lunchtime. I considered going to this restaurant, but the wait was an hour. This is Sankakutei, where I had lunch . I waited about 15 minutes before entering . Otani(baseball player) are everywhere in Japan. As you can see, you can choose your favorite toppings. The small bowl is about the size of a rice bowl. Which one would you choose? The large salmon and shrimp, packed tightly with salmon roe, looked incredibly delicious. The ingredients were thick and large! It was fatty and completely different from the salmon I usually eat. I’d like the salmon roe. Wow! That’s a lot of salmon roe! “Happiever Channel” introduces an easy recipe for making salmon roe marinated in soy sauce at home. Fresh salmon roe is available in supermarkets in the fall, so be sure to give it a try. The sweet shrimp was incredibly sweet and delicious. Every ingredient was flavorful, incredibly fresh, and incredibly delicious. The popular tuna sold out just before I could order. It was a very satisfying three-color bowl, so I hope you all enjoy it too. I highly recommend Sankaku Market, where you can enjoy a delicious seafood bowl. It’s a small market, so you can enjoy just strolling around. I wish I’d tried the sea urchin, too! Did you enjoy our introduction to Sankaku Market? It’s right next to the station, so be sure to check it out. The seafood from this region is truly delicious! A stroll around Sankaku Market and lunch will take about an hour. From here, we’ll explore the city of Otaru. It’s a stylish town with many renovated buildings. I stopped in for a sweet break at Ishigura Cafe, which has a chocolate Royce on the first floor. The soft serve ice cream looked delicious! The rich vanilla flavor was soothing after a day of sightseeing, and I devoured it in no time. Otaru is home to many historic buildings. Otaru, lined with historic stone buildings, is now home to famous glasswork and sweets shops, attracting many tourists. The temperature was 25°C (77°F). It was a truly pleasant day. The soothing sounds of musical instruments along the canal were soothing. The Otaru Canal is about a 15-minute walk from Otaru Station. A 20-minute stroll along the canal is enough to satisfy your craving. The bridge was bustling with people taking commemorative photos. Please subscribe to the “Happiever Channel.” Hokkaido is popular with Asians, and Otaru was bustling with Asian tourists. Otaru is a compact city packed with markets, souvenir shops, and tourist attractions. Otaru glasswork is also very popular. The creaking sound of the wooden floors is soothing. The air conditioning inside the store makes it very cool, allowing you to enjoy browsing the souvenirs. The cobblestone sidewalks on the main street create an exotic atmosphere. Classically designed hotels line the canal. LeTAO is located at the end of the Otaru Canal, just past the station street. They were offering samples of LeTAO’s popular fromage cheese in front of the store. The richness of the cheese is evident, and I could see why it’s so popular. There’s a cafe corner on the left side of the store, and a souvenir shop on the right. I was given a sample of a cheese cookie. The cheesecake, made with plenty of cheese, looked delicious! The store sells a variety of fromage cheese flavors. The humidity was low, making it a perfect day for sightseeing. A stylish port town with a sense of history is wonderful. The abandoned railway tracks make a great photo spot. Otaru is a 40-minute train ride from Sapporo. The Sankaku Market, where we had lunch, is located where the flag is pointing. We stayed for about two and a half hours during this shoot, but if you visit several cafes in Otaru and even go to the music box, you can fully enjoy Otaru in 3-hours. If you’re planning a trip to Hokkaido this summer, why not consider a trip to Otaru? You can get there by train from the airport without having to rent a car. How did you like this 3-hour tour of Otaru? Enjoy your sightseeing in Otaru to your heart’s content, with seafood, sweets, shopping, and more! Thank you for watching until the end.
