Fireworks & Sightseeing in Atami|Summer Day Trip to Shizuoka near Tokyo|JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG

Hi, I’m Daisuke😊Thank you for watching! This time I will travel to Atami in Shizuoka Prefecture, which is about an hour by train from Tokyo. Atami is a hot spring town, but it is also close to the sea and rich in nature, making it a popular tourist destination for a long time🌳 The Atami Marine Fireworks Festival, held throughout the year, is also very famous😳 Let’s enjoy the trip together👍 Kinomiya Shrine is a shrine with a long history that dates back 3,000 years, but it is unknown who built it. The shrine enshrines famous gods who appear in the Kojiki. The grounds are well maintained and have a calming atmosphere😌 The main shrine seems to be located higher up😊 The main shrine is very beautiful✨ Kinomiya Shrine has a large camphor tree
that is 2,100 years old and is considered the shrine’s sacred tree🌳 There seems to be a large camphor tree at the end of this road. This large camphor tree is approximately 26 meters tall and has a trunk circumference of 26 meters. Due to its strong vitality, it is believed that walking around the circumference of the trunk once will extend your life by one year💡 What a powerful tree! I ordered a café au lait in coffee jelly😄 It has become one of the shrines I want to visit again✨ Kadowaki Suspension Bridge is located in Jogasaki Park, a short distance from Atami. It takes about an hour by train from Atami,
but the rare suspension bridge over the sea is a popular spot for taking photos📸 What a spectacular view!👀 Aren’t those people scary?😥 I’m going to cross the suspension bridge💦 The suspension bridge sways more than expected😅 The view is amazing!✨ This coastline is said to have been formed by lava flowing from nearby volcanic eruptions. The sea breeze feels amazing!🌊 The rocks look rough like lava👀 I feel like my heart has been cleansed✨ I’ve returned to Atami🚃 Atami Castle, located on a hill in Atami, is a tourist facility built in 1959. There are many valuable exhibits from Japanese history inside the castle👀 Models of castles from all over Japan are on display. It’s so well made and interesting! There seems to be a footbath inside the castle. The view from the castle tower is spectacular, offering a panoramic view of Atami. It was a very enjoyable place😊 It’s already evening🌇 Today is the day of the famous Atami Fireworks Festival🎆 There’s a fireworks display, so there are people wearing yukatas✨ There are many people, but it is relatively comfortable with fewer people than other famous fireworks displays in Japan👍 Atami Castle, which I visited earlier, is beautifully lit up at night😯 I love this time and atmosphere when so many people are waiting for the fireworks to go off. The fireworks are about to start. Emotions that cannot be expressed in words well up inside me. Thank you for watching.
