Sakaimachi Street, where a steam clock greeted us♪ This is where our journey beganOh , it feels like I’ve wandered into a European market …or so I thought , but wait, this is a beckoning cat, right?I see, it’s a beckoning cat music box—That’s right , it looks like conveyor belt sushiA music box that catches your eyeA Japanese-style music box that looks even more delicious than the real thing—Yes, it’s sparkling and sparklyAnyway , I was soothed by the fairy tale-like spaceWhen you come to Hokkaido, you definitely want to eat fresh milk soft serve~ Oh, this looks like a delicious and stylish shopLet’s go in~ It was a very popular local confectionery shop that is particular about using Hokkaido ingredientsI wonder if you can get this anywhere (sorry)–That’s right hahaIt seems like convenience stores use Hokkaido fresh milkOh , sorry~-Yes! Um, ice cream…–One is 450 yen—Pay with PASMO, pleasePay with PASMO, understated~ Waffle cone♪ Sorry to keep you waiting—Thank youIt ‘s big! HahahaWow , it looks deliciousCan I have one?–Sure, of course~ How about it? The texture is super rich, and the taste is also good – eat and eat, rich milk makes me happy – as you would expect from Hokkaido ♪ By the way, it seems that the cream puffs at Kitakaro are a very popular item and are sure to sell out soon. Eat it – Thank you Yocchan Look at Yocchan 1, 2, 3 ~ Hahahahaha, they ‘re lining up to eat it It’s so delicious I recommend it! Look for the orange entrance ♪ This is Kazu, in charge of the face-out panel It’s finally lunchtime, which I’ve been looking forward to ♪ This restaurant has had a huge queue since it opened It ‘s a popular restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood bowls for the incredible price of just 500 yen I can’t contain my excitement, I’m so excited ! I’ve already decided on the menu I want to try Since I’ve come to Hokkaido, I want to try everything – a greedy seafood bowl! Eight kinds of seafood are piled high, let’s eat! Plenty of crab meat, how about the taste… hmm, a little dry Wasabi~ (Tony eats it as is, as usual) Hmm, delicious Wasabi Ah , it silently tingled lol Scallops~ hmm, not so good, very sweet And rice (why do they always use such plain ingredients lol) The shrimp were great and the long sashimi was all good too, but what we both liked the most was surprisingly the salmon roe and flying fish roe! We stuffed ourselves with a seafood bowl like a jewel box, and were very satisfied♪ Poseidon has a wide variety of menu items and price ranges, and this is also highly recommended ^^ Next up was Kitaichi Glass No. 3, a gallery and cafe run by Otaru’s leading glass brand The cafe is… is this it? Well, let’s go in first , there’s a line – Oh, is it like this? This historic stone warehouse, built in the Meiji era, exudes a sense of the profound passage of time. The oil lamp chandelier is so beautiful— it almost feels like I’m on a luxury cruise ship. The cafe’s countless oil lamps are also a sight to behold! (Unfortunately, photography was prohibited.) The accessories are cute, but… oh, the lamps! I want to see the lamps ! Shop 2F: Accessories, lamps, etc. 1F: Glass, tableware, ornaments, etc. I’d love to buy a stained glass lamp someday, but when I see the price tag, I quickly snap back to reality! Lol. Shall I start saving up for lamps ? Oh, glass and alcohol! The store is packed with glass products at special prices. Our destination is the carefully selected local sake section. Gulp, gulp, gulp . That’s nice. What is gulp, gulp, gulp? The Japanese sound of drinking is “gulp, gulp, gulp.” Ah, “gulp” I thought it was “kubi (neck, neck, neck).” Lol. Why, neck, neck, neck (scary). Huh, coffee? -Coffee, black coffee, sake? Eh? Does it taste like coffee? So if I drink this, will my head be clearer, or will I get drunker? I don’t know lol This is the old name of Hokkaido – Ezo, that’s right (you know a lot, Tony) It even won a gold medal at the Japan Wine Competition Hokkaido has a lot of different alcoholic drinks! Wind chimes The clear sound of wind chimes ♪ Otaru, which has long flourished as a commercial city, is soothed by the retro streets where many buildings designated as tangible cultural properties remain and the glass wind chimes throughout the city . Now it’s time for a coffee break B3 COFFEE A cafe with a reputation for its authentic coffee brewed by the Australian owner and his wife, “Flat White”, a rare menu item in Japan I ordered this for the first time to try Australian coffee and it was quite sour! It was a super friendly shop and I had a great time ^^ Tanaka… What is it? It’s the brewery, Tony. I’ve come to sample some sake, which I was also looking forward to. They apparently always have 10 to 15 different types available for tasting. Oh, the only one… Founded 120 years ago, this long-established brewery is committed to using 100% Hokkaido rice. Father’s Day is… Ah, next month we’ll be having a Father’s Day gift corner . Um… Customer, would you like to try some samples? Where are you from? I’m from China . Haha, I’ve been waiting for this moment. These are our most popular brands. You can sample whatever you like . Start with the sweet ones and find your favorite. Would you like some too? – Yes! Thank you. It’s sweet. – Yeah, nice. This one is very fruity and easy to drink. – It’s soft. Their representative brand, Takaragawa, was delicious! We sampled three types of sake and two types of whiskey ♪ Thank you ^^ The Kenyan staff member who came to Japan a year ago gave us a very detailed explanation and we learned a lot ^^ Thank you ^^ We bought Takarakawa and some sake kasu rice crackers and drank and ate them all on the way back ^^ Thank you, Yocchan -Thank you ^^ To the staff member from before, I kept saying thank you ^^Thank you ^^ Haha, he thought I was Chinese because he only asked Tony where he was fromAt 5pm, the streets were suddenly enveloped in silenceIt was a bit cold that day too (a story about our trip to Kanazawa) So, we had ramen laterHahaha, isn’t it the same? Today -Spicy miso ramenI took lots of photos later today as well, and then ate ramenWhile waiting for the sun to go down, my head was full of thoughts of ramenLolIt’s beautifulThey are…Ah, is this the halfway point ?They are going backThis isn’t a customer, what, maybe it’s a show?! It’s a show! -Ah, I seeIt ‘s a more professional camera than ours… Maybe it’s someone famous? ? A celebrity? I don’t think so… After that, we safely ate some delicious dandan noodles and were satisfied, and headed home. It was a very fulfilling day trip ^^ Thank you for watching!
