24 Hours in NAGOYA JAPAN – MIRAI Tower Views, Traditional Temples & Scorching Heat!
[Music] Another sunrise. My mornings are one of the most important things to me because I can sit here and confidently say that I think about my progression. I reflect on the previous day before and it helps me sett intentions for today. what I want to learn, what I want to get out of today, what I want to do. Uh, you know, when I’m traveling, it comes a little bit different because you don’t really know what you’re going to get during the day, right? You don’t know what you’re going to find or learn. And so, it’s a little bit hard. But all I know is that when I’m going to go to a new place, I’m going to learn something and it’s going to be exciting. And so I have to go in with an open mindset and make sure that I’m very positive and I’m paying attention to everything that I can to to notice some of these things and learn from it and grow from it. That’s how I turn traveling into productivity. You’re being productive. You’re growing. You’re doing. You’re changing things. You’re learning. That’s the point. Breakfast today is about to be banging. Okay. So, we’re in the elevator where you can see in midship where you can see the uh this floors. It’s so pretty though. It’s a little shaky. I know. It’s a little It’s a wee bit, you know. But that’s cool though. [Music] Okay, so something new that I’ve tried are these things. They’re like Japanese omelets and they’re so good. Um cuz they’re like sweeter than like American eggs and like so like they’re so good. Japanese omelets. Wonderful. Okay, we dock at 9:00. Right now it is almost 8, so I have about roughly 50 minutes to get some editing done. I mean, frankly, there is not much to do. So, I’m just getting some work done. I feel like this is kind of how you work smarter, not harder. You work when you can um and when you have the time. So, yeah, that’s what I’m doing. I’m just kind of working, getting stuff done so that that way when I get back, I’m not overwhelmed, overloaded, overstressed with all of the stuff that I have to do. So, by doing this, um, it helps me in the long run. So, you know, like what else am I going to do? Just sit outside on the pool deck, you know, doing the same thing I did this morning, right? Journaling, writing, watching Netflix, like, you know, um, I want to be doing productive stuff. Today I’m just I’m dragging everything. My legs are about to fall off my body. Doing like 20,000 steps plus a day for like 10 days straight is is quite a lot. It’s quite a lot honestly. And you start to feel it. I got to get with it. Get with the program, you know, get it together. [Music] Okay, we have arrived in Nagoya. It’s just kind of the same things. Uh, a castle and like street market. Just kind of the same stuff we’ve been doing. So, we’re just going to vibe at this point, see what we can do, and then probably just go back. Call time’s back at like 6:30. So, it’s going to be a long day. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Okay, we saw the castle. Didn’t want to pay for it. Uh cuz you can’t even go inside it. Got bit by some bug too twice and it’s like itchy as hell. Um so yeah, we’re going to go to other places. We uh stuck around for a little bit, mapped out some things. I posted some things I needed to post and now we’re off again. How was it, Hills? Good. You [Music] Heat. Heat. [Applause] [Music] So, it’s 92° outside, 58% humidity, and the UV is at 9. So, if that doesn’t tell you I’m sweating still, I don’t know what does. This is hot today. This is next on our itinerary vaguely. Uh supposedly there’s supposed to be a glass bottom, so we’re going to go walk on it. There’s no shade, but we’re just going to do it anyway cuz it’s fun. And we’re in a new place and adventuring. Seems like it’s like a conference center like with business opportunities and stuff. I don’t know. Or they’re trying to sell something like a product of some sort. It just looks very businessy. I just can’t read anything so I don’t really know what’s going on. It’s a competition of something. Beyblades. No, that’s not then the table would be curved. So warm. The water is so warm. But it’s cool though. Nice. [Music] Okay. Red bean pancake, coffee, almond milk, protein. [Music] Okay, we are heading out of this place. We’re going to go find this Rubik’s cube and then we might go to a temple. 20 minute walk away just to get to the Rubik’s Cube and then I think another 20 or 30 to the temple. But we’ll see how we do. Okay, we made it to the Cuba Rubik. I thought it was going to be colorful, but it it is not. It is just It’s silver. It’s not even gold. It’s silver. I guess I’ll take a photo here. It’s for Toyota for cube. My god, it’s so freaking hot. What are you What am I looking at? Okay, let’s cross. Their fire trucks and their ambulances here are like very very small and so it’s really interesting to see. I mean, all of the cars here are smaller or like boxy. Yeah, it’s cool. [Music] [Applause] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] There was no signs, but the guy did yell at me for having a camera, but there was no signs. And everything is in Japanese, so it’s not my fault. I’m, you know, American. I just got hit by one of those pigeons. I don’t know if that’s lucky or not, but They have a whole rack of eggs here for 198 yen, which is equivalent to about a dollar American. I mean, like, this is incredible. Okay, that was fun. I didn’t buy anything, but I looked at some stuff. Oh, yeah. It’s hot. [Music] [Music] Okay, we’re back at the port. Going to do like this boardwalk thing. There’s not a lot to do here. I don’t know. I just I feel as though the amount of time here could be shortened or we could have just skipped this whole day and just gone another day in Tokyo. But I mean, hey, I don’t make the rules. But I’m just saying it’s like not that exciting in terms of things to do. But maybe it’s just cuz we’re cheap. I don’t know. [Music] I wonder why it’s so dead. Oh, that’s right. because it’s literally 92° and nobody wants to be out in this heat and I don’t blame them. [Music] How cool would it be to climb that? Like that’d be so cool to climb. Like just hoof it all the way up like no harness, nothing. It’s like in divergent. But they climb the ferris wheel to the top. That’d be so cool. [Music] Okay, so basically it is 3:40. I’m going to go hit the gym because at this point it’s too hot to go outside and in the pool. Uh I like there’s nowhere else to really sit and do anything. The only thing I could do is edit, but I need certain I need internet connection to do that. Like I need to download certain things for like my plan that I want to do. So, basically, the gym is what I got to do. So, I’m going to go hit the gym. Plus, there’s like nobody in it, which is what I love. Then, I’m going to shower cuz I am actually so disgusting. Sorry, that was dramatic of me. [Music] Good. That’s good. I want to try when they come out. It’s champagne. Cheers to traveling. Does this look uncomfortably yellow to you? That’s all your feet. [Music] It’s always so cute. Like they always come and they say goodbye. No matter where we are in Japan, they all like someone’s always waving to us. Everyone’s so polite here. It’s just it’s really nice, honestly. Everyone’s just super nice and grateful and happy. It’s nice for a change, honestly. Yeah. [Music] watching La La Land for the second time this cruise for me. Haley fell asleep. But I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Um, there wasn’t really much to do here, but it was kind of just like a filler day. Yeah, it was a filler day. Um, anyways, everything is linked down description below. Click my Patreon page. If you want to go support, you can go all there. If you want to know what kind of camera gear I use and where I got it from, there’s a whole link below. Um, yeah. Other than that, I’m going to see you guys tomorrow. Tomorrow we go to Mount Fuji. How exciting. Make sure you catch that tomorrow. Okay, I’m tired. My legs hurt. And I’m just exhausted. So, okay. Good night. [Music]
