Cincinnati Open tennis fans talk Taylor Swift album: ‘Not a Swiftie”

Cincinnati Open fans discussed the two big talkers of the week: Taylor Swift’s new album and sourdough bread.

Cincinnati’s favorite boy band member, Nick Lachey, and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, recently re-purchased a stunning Los Angeles home from Naomi Osaka nearly three years after selling it to the tennis star.

The Wall Street Journal reported Osaka recently sold the home she bought from the Lacheys in 2022 back to the celebrity couple for $7.95 million. The 27-year-old reportedly bought the Tarzana, Los Angeles, home for $6.3 million.

The Lacheys purchased the five-bedroom home in 2020 for just under $5 million, per The Wall Street Journal.

During her time at the home, Osaka made renovations, such as adding a gym in the backyard. It features her name and personal logo.

The gated estate, which is roughly 0.5 acres, also boasts an outdoor pool, hot tub and pickleball court, but no tennis court. According to The Wall Street Journal, the main house has five bedrooms and is complete with mountain views.

Architectural Digest reported the Lacheys initially sold the home so they could relocate to Hawaii, while Vanessa filmed “NCIS: Hawaii.” The couple reportedly moved back to California last year after the series was canceled.

The sale comes after Osaka reached the final at the National Bank Open in Montreal before losing to Victoria Mboko. It marked her first Masters 1000 final since the 2022 Miami Open. It also followed her appearance in the round of 16 in Washington, D.C., and the round of 32 at Wimbledon.

Osaka is a four-time Grand Slam champion, who claimed the crown at the U.S. Open and the Australian Open two times each earlier in her career. She will be looking for a third title at the U.S. Open, which is set to begin Aug. 19.

Tarzana was once a ranch owned by Edgar Rice Burroughs, author of the “Tarzan” books, The Wall Street Journal reported. Known for upscale homes, golf courses and country clubs, Tarzana had a median home sale price of $1.1 million in July, according to Redfin.
