I took a short bus journey of just over an hour from Sapporo to Jozankei Onsen town, and spent the day there. It’s a town full of ryokans and luxury spa hotels for people to enjoy the natural hot springs. As well as spending the afternoon at a hotel’s onsen, I also explored the town’s temples, parks, bridges and river. There is also a free public onsen in the form of a foot bath where you can relax your feet in the open-air bath full of hot spring water.
I hope that my travel vlog gives you some ideas of places to go and sightseeing whilst visiting Jozankei Onsen town.
