Naomi Osaka is accustomed to hitting tennis balls back and forth, but she was involved in some real estate back and forth as well after reportedly selling a Los Angeles mansion back to Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

Katherine Clarke and E.B. Solomont of the Wall Street Journal reported the tennis star sold the home she bought from the Lacheys in 2022 back to the celebrity couple for $7.95 million.

The Lacheys purchased the five-bedroom home in 2020 for just under $5 million before Osaka bought it from them two years later for $6.3 million. Osaka made some renovations that included adding a gym in the backyard that features her name and personal logo.

It is in an area of the house that also features a sauna, cold plunge, steam room, massage table, sports court and swimming pool.

Katie Schultz of Architectural Digest noted the Lacheys initially sold the house so they could relocate to Hawai’i while Vanessa was filming NCIS: Hawai’i. They moved back to California last year and are looking to sell the house they first bought in their return to the Los Angeles area as they move into their old house.

The house they are purchasing from Osaka is 6,855 square feet.

This comes after Osaka reached the final at the National Bank Open in Montreal before losing to Victoria Mboko. It marked her first Masters 1000 final since the 2022 Miami Open and followed an appearance in the round of 16 in Washington D.C. and the round of 32 at Wimbledon.

She is a four-time Grand Slam champion who claimed the crown at the U.S. Open and the Australian Open two times each earlier in her career.

Osaka will be looking for a third title at the U.S. Open later this month with the tournament set to begin Aug. 19.
