[Music] This was one of the most unforgettable moments I’ve had in Hakon. It was my third visit, and this Rioan is by far the best. The hot spring was very clean and comfortably hot. It left my skin and hair feeling incredibly soft. The staff were professional and exceptionally kind. As soon as we arrived at the gate, they welcomed us warmly with a convenient location from transit station. Beautiful landscape, very comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent service and food. Rio Kongokout is a wonderful retreat that’s conveniently located in Hakon. It’s 10 minutes away from the Hakone Yamoto station. You feel so luxurious even before you set foot into the building. As soon as we passed the traditional looking front entrance, someone came out to greet us and confirmed our name and reservation. He then guided us into the main building where a crew of staff came out to greet us. The ladies even wear the traditional kimono, making us feel like we traveled back in time. After checking in, we were led to our room. Two gentlemen took our luggage for us. I feel so spoiled. Then Yuki introduced herself to us and told us that she will take care of us for the time we stay at the Rio. Loved everything about this place. Transports you into a little peaceful heavenly place. The staff were really nice and the food was amazing. I love just staring at the garden, sitting in a little outdoor area next to the living room. would love to come back in the future. Location is pretty straightforward from the Hakon Naimoto station. A little bit of walk, but it’s manageable. We don’t have luggage at the time though. The Rioan is very nice. It was quite an experience to sleep on a futon bed, which was surprisingly very comfy. A room attendant was assigned to us to cater for the room and food. Dinner was a seven course one with legit Japanese food. Breakfast was also Japanese food. Location is pretty straightforward from the Hakon Yumoto station. A little bit of walk but it’s manageable. The staff is lovely. The experience was amazing, particularly the food room service. Private hot tub in the room. There is also a public one. It was a truly authentic Japanese experience.
