Heyy everyone, please don’t be too rude or judgmental about me even considering this, but as my first car (and second in household), I am seriously considering this Mitsubishi Pajero Mini Snoopy edition lol.

It’s just like the best thing I’ve ever seen, it’s RHD and is a 2-seater like that’s perfect for me, the snoopy is just the cherry on top. Is it a really bad idea to consider buying this? Is it too expensive for what it is even if it’s such a unique car?

Also I know you can’t tell from that one photo but there’s snoopies all over the car, on the side, in the seating, on the wheels, and it looks like snoopy if u think about it.

I am not too well versed in cars but I’m also not a complete newbie, so I understand it will be hard to find parts for this thing in the US seeing as it was only sold in Japan, never in NA, but I’m just weighing things and I know there’s plenty of hobbyists here. Let me know!

Yes it’s a bit of a pain to have a car not originally sold in your region. Just being RHD will be an issue in a LHD country. Always going to have to work harder to see and use things like drive ups.

No one will want to insure it too and like you said no parts. Even a 2000 sold here will have less parts at this point but the mail and Japan exist.

A lot of people manage because they love these cars but if you just want a stress free way from A to B don’t get a JDM car without a good mechanic or being one yourself.

  2. Love these and JDM cars but might advise against this

Parts will be harder to come across of course, even with the low mileage it’s still an older car and repairs will be inevitable
This is also a kei-car, so it’s gonna be SLOW. Like too slow to be on a highway slow.

And the price is pretty high, might be a fair price considering the mileage and special trim level but i still think it could be lower.

On the bright side though you’d get super good gas mileage and a unique car
