I never stayed in any 5-star hotels in Japan in my whole life This is my first time Hotel selling point is their natural hot spring and able to view Sakurajima In 2015, Emperor of Japan had stayed in this hotel Also, the hotel room price is surprisingly reasonable From downtown to the hotel just 30 minutes walk, I think it’s totally manageable walking time in beginning But I was totally wrong It’s mostly uphill route Please feel how torturing I was by looking at the following footage The sign said I need to pass through a tunnel to arrive the hotel reception That’s not the hotel guest building Walk more 15 minutes from here to reach the hotel entrance I used around 50 minutes at the end to arrive the hotel entrance This is a 5-star hotel. Check-in time is 3pm and checkout is 11am Today video sequence is : 1) Lobby & room tour; 2) Hot spring; 3) Other floors visit Keycard is required to access the room floor 1/F to 4/F are common area; 5/F to 10/F are guest rooms The hotel is huge. 5/F with 78 rooms in total Let’s begin the room tour Review and details can be seen near the end of the video Very good! Two pillows with different softness Toothbrush, razor, bath towel, comb etc Let’s test the light switch now Natural hot spring time! “You can view whole Sakurajima” Price list of different massages No need to bring towels from your room “Make you pretty hot spring” The hot spring is really amazing! Emperor of Japan visited here in 2015 Some history about this hotel The hotel with different building wings 3/F is spa while 4/F is the lobby floor Let’s walk a bit in the 1/F first There are restaurants, convenient store, bakery, wedding counter, local food shops etc in 1/F Let’s now checkout the 4/F This outdoor area is another must visit place These are convention meeting rooms The shuttle bus schedule to downtown with twice per hour starting from 6:30am to 10:00pm Hotel location is up on a mountain Walking to the hotel is the worst experience during my stay A little recommendation to the hotel – to inform the guests in advance about this The hotel is huge and a real 5-star standard Bedding, pillows and pajamas are very good You can feel the minerals exist in the natural hot springs water The outdoor spa view is spectacular It takes a long walk from room to the spa as hotel too big The room soundproof not very good but it’s not too bad The room price is totally a 3-star level The room price is USD57.8 (not include breakfast)
