【4K】Kakegawa Castle (Shizuoka) / 掛川城 (静岡)

Walk-through movie of Kakegawa castle (掛川城) that is a Japanese castle in Shizuoka pref. Located at center of flat land formed by Sakagawa river, it was originally built by Asahina clan as major base of Imagawa clan at Totomi province. Later it became important castle to manage Tokaido road and was expanded into huge castle protected by line of rivers, water moats and hills under Yamauchi clan. Outer area was lost but core area remains on castle hill with secondary area hall and rebuilt wooden main tower.
