Kyotu gorge is one of the three best gorgees of Japan. It is in the Tokamachi city of Nigata. Kyotu Gorge is famous for its crystal clear water, steep claves and unique rock formations. Hello friends, today I want to show you the Kyotu gorge in Nigata. You can see the tunnel entrance and soon we will go inside and explore how is the Kyotu. So let’s go. Our reservation is around 2:30 and right now it is almost 2:25. So we see this Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. in area 51. The total length of the Kyotu gorge tunnel is 750 m. You can enjoy the magnificent beauty of the gorge from the three observation points and the panorama station at the end of the tunnel. In 2018, MAD architects renovated and completely transformed the 750 m tunnel. Their innovative and futuristic design creates this Kiyosu gorge tunnel as the tunnel of light. You can see five different colored lights in this part of the tunnel. Based on the theme of the five major elements of nature, wood, earth, metal, fire and water, the tunnel will be illuminated in green, yellow, red, orange and blue. We have reached the first observatory and I will show you the view. The gorge is created due to the volcanic activity in the region. This one is the first observatory. From here you can see the wonderful view and the arch is really nice. So due to the arch you can take a nice photograph. There are three observatories. So right now we are moving to the second one. The walls and the floors in this space are painted black and white in a striped thrilling effect. At the center of the platform, you can see an art installation, the invisible bubble. This one is pretty interesting, though it’s just a toilet. The only toilet facility within the Kyotu gorge tunnel and it turns into an optical illusion for visitors inside the tunnel. And here you can see the second observatory. The sheer rock walls and the varying shades of green from the surrounding forest create a breathtaking view. Now we are moving towards the third observatory. In this part of the tunnel, look at the ceilings and walls. You can see droplet-like mirrors glowing with orange neon light. These mirrors are also reflecting the outside rock formations. How beautiful is this place? Now we are going towards the end of the Kyo Gorge tunnel. See, it’s so scary, isn’t it? At the end of the Kyotub tunnel, this place is called Panorama Station where you can enjoy a truly magical site. Now you can understand why this place is called tunnel of light. And you can walk in your bare foot, but it’s pretty cold water. But yeah, as it is a hot summer, so you will feel good while walking on this cold water and you will get a really amazing view over there. Heat up here. Heat. Heat.
